The lights are great and bright. There are several preset patterns/colors to choose from (which I appreciate). I have not used the adhesion, so I do not know if they stick well or for how long. I love that they have connectors on both ends so it is easy to create series connection with out dicing and splicing the two roles but, you also have the option to have them run/play parallel to one another. I have not yet attempted to diy the lights and choose my own color/pattern play. Instructions for everything is lacking in clarity/depth. Still, I bought these and another brand and these are superior. I sent the other brand back. My biggest disappointment is I paid $39.02 for these on Dec 3rd, received them on Dec 16th and went to order more today on Dec 22nd only to discover they are now $49.99. I am looking for a less expensive set that might be just as good. Update: 10/08/23 I still have these lights I installed them around my garage door for Christmas. I have left them there since I installed them in 2021 and they are as bright as ever. I use red and green chasing for Christmas, rainbow chasing for New Years, red chasing white for Valentines Day, Green for St Patrick Day, Rainbow chasing for Easter, rainbow chasing for 4th of July ( I’d rather have red, white, blue chasing), purple for Halloween (I’d rather have purple chasing orange) and I use orange for Thanksgiving. For the most part I love these lights. My 3 disappointments are that instructions are tiny and incomplete, I want tocstomize which lights chase which other lights but I have not been able to figure out how to set up the customized DIY options and the manufacturer is in China so contacting them for assistance is not happening. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Wow! I love these lights! So easy to put up too. They use a remote to control the effects and have a lot of different effects. I bought these for my 12 year old granddaughter and she loves them. They don’t use much power and really make her room contemporary. I didn’t have to have anyone install them or help. I did it by myself one quiet morning and voila! Beautiful lights! I bought a smaller size at Home Depot, but these cover a LOT more space and are just a lot better. The Home Depot lights in white seem brighter, but when are we going to use that???? I want the colors and chasing effects! The remote on the right is the Home Depot light that’s shorter in length. ... show more

When I received the item, the power supply was dead. Contacted Amazon who put me in contact with the supplier. Rather than wasting the return shipping cost and effort, I asked if they could just send a replacement power supply as I had verified its no output with a DVM. They said no but supplied me with an alternate power supply Amazon item number. They said to order that and let them know it worked and they would credit me 99% of the $13.99 power supply cost. I ordered it, it came, and everything works as it should. I let them know and quickly got the credit on my card. Don't know why it was not 100% instead of the quoted 99%, but not to concerned over the 15 cents (just curious). Anyway, I am happy and would order from them again and there customer service was very responsive! This is actually me second order of the LED string as the first one worked perfectly. One feature not advertised which I really needed is that after customizing the color settings you can command it off via the remote and the off command also saves those settings to memory. Then you can command it on again and switch the120 volt A.C. power on and off and the LEDs will always turn on the same settings. You must use the Off button on the remote at least once though for the initial remembering action. This is perfect as I have the strip plugged into a relay controlled by my pre-amp audio processor so that when I turn that on, it turns on the LED string automatically (to the same color mode) without ever having to use the LED string's remote control ever again. Don't know if other brands have that feature or not so I will stick to this brand if needed again. ... show more

Very nice lights and remote. Easy to install. The tape does not hold well and you may need to add supplemental tape or anchors. I used it on a fountain on the patio (not directly in the rain or weather) and the tape started to give quickly after installation. Pretty good buy for the money.

Purchased two sets for my kids room. Each set came with two rolls inside plus all of the necessary installation hardware. These were long enough to cover the entire romm, all four walls along the ceiling. They are very easy to install and worked great. The different modes are awesome and led brightelness is very good. Just wish the music sensor was a bit more accurate but not a big deal. Would definitely buy again if needed for any other projects. ... show more
