Admittedly, this thing reminds me of something from a certain comic book movie set in Wakanda. That said, it is comfortable to wear, easy to use, and provides a wide range of therapeutic uses at a fraction of the price of a salon or spa. The mask is very flexible and has cutouts for the eyes, nose, and lips. There are molded eye cups to insert into the mask to make it more comfortable. The silicone strap band has a variably adjustable velcro strip at the end. The interior of the mask show lots and lots of tiny light chips, as well as a little port that allows the connection to the remote control unit. That remote control unit is USB-C rechargeable. A generously sized USB-C ribbon cable is included, as well as a very short cable for charging the remote control. Usage notes: The instructions seem to depict a different sequence of colors than what my unit offers, so I wasn't entirely sure which color was meant to be which. For example, for me it was hard to differentiate between blue light light, violet, and blue light dark. I safely performed the recommended test run to check for sensitivity and waited a day to then use the mask on my face. No problems or sensitivity for me, and no unpleasant warmth. I have some inflamed ingrown hairs on my eyebrows and chin, and one full treatment with the mask left my skin calmer and clearer without having to deal with a lot of messy products. I find it relaxing to use.

I’m returning this item due to insufficient eye protection. The rubber eye protection would not fully seal around my eyes allowing red light around the corners of my eyes.

I have tried quite a few LED masks like this and the silicone ones are my preference over the hard plastic ones. I also love when they are cordless instead of having to be plugged into a wall somewhere. None of these masks I’ve tried except the clear face mask types are easy to walk around with on but it’s also not impossible with the silicone ones. This is awkward to keep in place but you can get up if you need to. I suggest relaxing and just kicking back while you spend 20 minutes with this on. It’s also nice that this is HSA/FSA eligible! This mask specifically is pretty average compared to others like this but I wouldn’t say it’s any better or worse than others.

The directions were pretty clear and it is not complicated. I use the red-light therapy the most, as that's the one I'm most familiar with from the spa I go to. I like that the mask is flexible as opposed to rigid, as that makes it more comfortable to wear. Hard to say if it works, but I am hopeful!!

Often times, the remotes on these face masks (that are charged and allow you to use the light mask without being plugged into the wall) are really a pain to use. This one is more of a clicker (with no buttons at all). Each click changes the color of the light, so it is super simple. It is very bright, which is generally a good thing, but the brightness cannot be adjusted. The mask is comfortable to wear, and I appreciate that the nose piece does not make it difficult to breathe like some other designs do.
