A defined winner! Anyone with a 99 - 02 Silverado or 00 - 06 Tahoe/ Suburban should consider these RamJet4x4 headlights. Instructions: Amazing printed color instruction book had easy step by step instructions and additional pages of information and trouble shooting that covered all the what if's. Installation: Easy and straightforward. All blubs are included so it's literally as easy as removing the old housings and plugging in the new. I've used AJP brand of Amazon lights in another truck and they required hard wiring to connect the led daytime running light bars. These lights did not require any additional wiring. The convenience was great, plug and go. Build quality: These lights look and feel great! Compared to other aftermarket housings they are heavier and the plastic brackets are thicker and harder. The adjusters are a different design from factory or others but are easy to adjust with a flat screw driver. The clips on other lower parking light/turn signal housings are a common failure point and it seems that RamJet4x4 has addressed this by building these with a thicker plastic and adding reinforcement metal clips. The lens are crystal clear and the last page in the book has care instructions. It says that the lens will not yellow after long time use. I just installed these (March 2025) and cannot report on the long term durability but will update this review after some time. Performance: These lights have a nice warm color and project light onto the road right where you need it not all over the sides or into the trees. The Z shaped beam pattern mimics the design of modern automotive lights on higher end vehicles giving your old truck the lighting and safety you need to drive at night. Unlike replacing the old halogen blubs in your factory or aftermarket housings with LED's this unique design prevents the light spilling out all over place which can blind oncoming drivers. Additional note on Performance: These lights have a built in feature that allows BOTH the low beam and high beam blubs to be on when the high beams are turned on. This was a nice surprise since usually this requires a relay or additional device installed in the fuse box to achieve. Overall review: These lights are as bright or brighter than replacing your bulbs with LED's and have a great beam pattern that keeps and projects the light onto the road much further distance than factory or aftermarket housings. I would buy definitely buy again for my other trucks.

let me start off by saying that these headlights suprised me at first cause of the price they had!! So i decided to give them a try since all the other ones that are made for the chevy tahoe are so cheap made and either they break so easily or even that water gets in them so fast and dont last long which suck so bad !!! So first thing i enjoyed and loved was when i received these headlights , they came in so nicely packed in the box and i can tell right away they weigh more than the chinese made ones.when i picked them up . also i can tell right away that they are more durable and better quality. i didnt had to worrry about sealing up all around with silicone since they are already made for that.So goin on to the installation at firzt it was so confusing and hard to get them to operate the way there supposed but the directions on the paper were clearly and understandable. I went ahead and put them on i had trouble at first cause either the halogen bulb wouldnt light up or the drl but i figures i had to to mess with the wires and turn them around 180 degrees till i got them all to turn on! plain and simple i didnt had to deal with any bulbs not fitting or the headlights not fitting in since everything is implemented in the headlight housing!Took me a good 2 hours to get them to fit and work perfect and old boy i love the results they fit in so nice juzt like the original stock ones dont have any gaps or openings everything was just perfect. i love the drl led strips and how bright they are too and at night time they left me speechless cause they are perfect and it lights up the whole road and i dont got to worry about any adjustments made to focus the light on the road! i fell in love with them and even ever since then i been getting so many compliments when im driving.They saved my life on the road now that i can perfectly see and not worrying about the light not being bright cause these halogens are super bright and they make the road so visible at night no matter where im going too! anyways it was a hassle putting and gettimg them right the first time but that cause these are a brand new style that are just plug n play i dont have to worry about buy them led bubls or anything cause theyre all integrated inside which i love so much! i was so happy with the results and i love the drl led strips and the halogens it made my truck look so much newer and beautiful! i have never in my life expected some awesome headlights like these ones! they just changed the whole look of my truck and it was a simple just plugnplay i gave these headlights a 5 star review and will never again buy those or any other chinese headlights!

Let's be through, lights arrived in a heavy duty over packed box, if they arrive damaged someone has been grossly negligent along the way. The lights are fairly heavy and feel well constructed, wires are neat and labeled, as well as covered for durability from chaffing. Instillation is pretty straight forward and they mount as OEM do, and feel as solid. The instructions are clear and evening color! Overall instillation is pretty simple. The fit is pretty good. As for the actual light output is great. I have had several hid projector setups and the low beam is on par, but the high beam is second to none. The beam pattern is a little different that I am used to but now that I have driven with them several days I have grown to live them as I live in the country and drive in the dark through deer territory almost every day, and these have helped avoid several deer already sooner and safer than with the old lights. The turn signals are very bright and I like the size of them, they cover a larger area than the originals. The drl seems to be quite bright and should let others see you well .( I do not have mine hooked up currently as my 20 year old sockets are burned out, but I was able to get a feel for how they are while discovering this) . Not that we want negatives but let's cover the few there are. A couple connections are less secure than desired, and although I am sure a 20 year old truck doesn't help, isn't anything that a little electrical tape don't make secure. One light I didn't feel like sits perfectly straight but isn't really noticable. ( I noticed more than others) and the last thing I would say is that I would like the parking light to be a little brighter, however they are plenty adequate and the very bright turn signal more than makes up for this. And the single biggest fault I could find is the adjusters. They are not really made to be adjusted while installed as OEM is, and there is no mention of the adjusters or which one does what in the instructions. This is still a pretty minor issue as once they are aimed well there shouldn't be a need to do it again. So in summery if your looking for a light that works very well, looks good and doesn't break the bank ( esp compared to a quality set of projector retrofits price wise) then I would say these are much better than the average cheap options. .

Let me start out by saying I don't normally write reviews, but I am incredibly impressed with these lights. I've had the traditional "amazon" specials with LED bulbs and these lights blow them away. Not only are these lights plug and play, but the light output is outstanding. I went from blinding oncoming traffic to lighting up the road in front of me instead of the faces of the passerby. So let's get to the pros... Pros: Plug & play Easy to install Rigid material, not cheap and flimsy All LED Adjustable to your vehicle no matter if your lowered or lifted Outstanding output No longer blinding oncoming traffic with LED bulbs in hologen housings Looks great Actually uses an led low and high beam in a projector Headlight frame is one of the best I've seen. Not flimsy and does not shake while driving down the road. (And I'm lowered) Cons: None really. Worth every penny. By time you buy the cheap lights and convert everything to LED, you might as well purchase these. Disclaimer: I do have my low and high beams wired together when I use my high beams. How to align your head lights: Step 1: park vehicle square to a wall 25' away on a level surface. Step 2: measure the height of the bulb at the vehicle. Step 3: adjust the output of the light to match the height of the bulb at the wall. (Bulb height and wall cut-off line should match once adjusted). Step 4: adjust both driver and passenger side so that top cut-off lines match each other. Step 5: measure the distance between your low beams at the vehicle. Step 6: do your best to put the drivers beam hot spot strait out in front of the drivers side bulb. Step 7: measure at the wall and put the passenger side beam hot spot the same distance away that the bulbs are at the vehicle. Step 8: adjust as necessary. Not all vehicles are the same. Step 9: enjoy your great looking lights and great output for years to come.

These headlights are amazing! they are probably one of the best upgrades you can do to your Tahoe/Suburban/Silverado etc. No matter what i did to my old headlights, i was never satisfied with their brightness. I tried restoring them, LED bulbs and i kept them clean. But it was still a 20+ years old design that had it's limitations and were built to work with incandescent bulbs. The new headlights however, are designed to function like a modern headlights. Their brightness is something you won't get with the most expensive LED bulbs you can add to your old headlights. Not only do they look great, they add a touch of modern to your SUV. And let's not forget about how much safer it is to drive with the new headlights. You can see so much more at night. Installation was pretty straightforward, it only took me about 30mins, they fit just like the original headlights. Everything that you need comes in the box (with the expectation of any xtra tools you might need). If you're looking to upgrade your headlights look no further. You will not regret buying these.

Original review: I would like to start by repeating a lot of the same points already stated in these reviews. Great packaging, plug and play, bright low and high beam LED projector lights, bright turn signals and daytime running lights, a nice non intrusive modern aesthetic to blend with the design of 2000-2002, 2000-2006 full sized Chevy pickups and SUVs, and what appears to be a great build quality. Everything during the installation went smoothly, save for a blown fuse or two that was mentioned in the instructions. The installation did take me about an hour, which was also mentioned in the instructions and other reviews. Now that's out of the way, on to why I just can't recommend these lights. With the issues I had, I do not feel comfortable using these lights. I couldn't seem to retain the way the turn signals operated from the factory, where the turn signal/parking light and side marker would alternate between each other. This was due to the front parking light fuse blowing once everything was plugged in. I went back several times and flipped the parking light blades around on both sides, and I could never seem to find a fix. Either one side would be too dim, just not work at all, or both sides would not light up and only work for hazards and turn signals, but the side marker and main parking light would flash in sync. Sometimes a different fuse would blow. In my case it was usually the left turn signal fuse inside the dash fuse cluster. This is where things get weird. I finally got the left turn signal to work like it used to from the factory, but the passenger side turn signal and side marker would still flash in unison, and the main parking light on that side would flash really dim. Flipping the blade yet again would blow the front parking light fuse. After several blown fuses, and Four hours over two days of trying to figure out why this was happening, I called it quits and cut my losses. It's a shame really as I was trying to give these lights a chance. A few things I would recommend the factory to have a look at though. The adjustment bolts need to be about another half inch longer, as most reviews I've read, and my own personal experience show that these bolts have to be backed out almost all the way to be adjusted properly. I would also recommend having a look at the molding process for the bracket holding the lights. The lower pieces containing the turn signals and lower daytime running lights are fine, but the upper part containing the low beam, high beam, and upper DRL need to be reworked. To repeat some concerns in other reviews, the holes do not fully line up, and though with a bit of finagling or force the pins will slide into place, the customer shouldn't have to force them in, or even modify anything on their vehicle to make them fit. I shouldn't even need to modify the product itself to get it to work correctly, as another review mentioned needing to do. Also, maybe invest a bit of money into Quality Control. It seems no two customers have the same experience, and some experience defects from the factory. Also, having a test vehicle, or even a mockup of the front end of the vehicle a product is designed for, would go a long way in making sure the product fits properly and doesn't need any modifications or "finagling" to get to fit or work correctly. Just some food for thought. Update 11/29/25: I decided to look at other user reviews and see if these lights have improved since my initial review, and I've noticed one common theme with some of the recent negative reviews. "The seller is not who they say they are, and try to direct me to an external means of communication." The actual seller is a company named Morsun LED/ Morsun Technology, and they sell these exact lights, the cateye version, and many other LED products like this, under dozens of different names on Amazon and other online retailers. BUYER BEWARE!

I was very excited to install these in my 2000 Chevy Silverado. They arrived quickly and were very well packaged. The instructions were clear and the build quality looked and felt very good. Unfortunately, when I tried to install headlight assembly the holes for the pins did not quite line up. They were only off by a half centimeter, but I did not want to risk breaking the new lights or the old bracket on the truck. I am wondering if anyone else had and issue with fitment on this particular year and model. Many of the install images and videos show a much larger opening in the mounting bracket than the one on my truck. It looks like even if the pins had lined up perfectly, I might have need to cut the bracket away for the lights to fit. ** So why the 3 Star rating. ** The lights did not fit so, I cannot give a five star rating. However, the problem might be my truck/model as the light bracket does not appear to have a large enough opening for these to fit lights, so I have to think that some of the problem is my vehicle. I am going to look into this more and will update this review if/when I get more information on my headlight brackets and why they look different that the vehicles in the the installation videos I watched.
