This ceiling light is beautiful. I bought this light while doing renovation. There is no light in the living room, and I was going to instal eight recessed LED lights which would have required drilling eight holes and run wires and cost more than $1000 when installed by the contractors. Contractors installed this light. They only had to drill one hole. That's much better than eight holes. The light is bright even for my large living room with high ceiling. Good that brightness can be controlled and so is light color. The photos show brightest and dimmest levels and colors at two extremes too. Not sure if you can tell from the photos. ... show more

This fixture is big and throws off a lot of light (that you can dim and change colors) AND is very modern looking/stylish. Surprised by the number of visitors I get who have commented on what a cool light it is. It's in the foyer of my split level, and even on one "end" of the open upstairs space, it illuminates the entire area. Assembly is challenging but the really hard part is fastening it to the outlet box in the ceiling. You will need 2 people and extra hands :). My existing outlet box was not attached to any rafters but the weight is minimal and I don't expect any problems. Any studs you put in the ceiling drywall better be exactly in line. Its worth the effort, it looks great and the color temperature controls from the remote will set your mood for the occasion. Some of the remote functions are non-functional or superfluous but it works fine. ... show more

I purchased this now almost two years ago, the installation is a bit of a PITA but with two people is pretty manageable. It has garnered many positive comments from visitors to our house and the brightness is absolutely fantastic. I had the power supply go out and reached out to support. After some back and forth with photos and diagnosis they were kind enough to send me a new power supply and remote. I would absolutely buy another one of these. ... show more

First of all my original review of the FIRST light still holds true. We still have it and it is still working great. HOWEVER…. I purchased a second light (exactly the same as the first) and we just found out today it officially doesn’t work. And we can’t return because we bought it the end of February and my husband tried to install and couldn’t get it to turn on but thought he did something wrong so wanted the electrician to verify and he couldn’t come until yesterday due to his schedule so now I’m out $100+ and super annoyed because I was so excite and loved the first one so much. I guess beware seems your chances are about 50/50 of either getting a light you absolutely love or getting a light that doesn’t work…ugh This light is amazing!! It looks sooo good in our dining room and adds the special touch we were hoping for as we continue our remodel. My husband installed it by himself with extra hand help from our son at one point but that was it! He’s pretty handy so I don’t know if it would be harder for others but I couldn’t believe how quick and simple it seemed, and am just delighted with how great it looks!! I was worried reading some of the reviews as overall the feedback seemed mixed however I’m so glad we could took the chance because it is so stylish and neat in our home! It is super bright with multiple choices of brightness and the remote is a huge bonus!! If you are considering this just buy it!! You WON’T regret it!! (Just for the record this is my own experience and opinion and I’m not writing this on behalf of anyone or any company—-100 real review here folks!! :) ... show more

I ordered the 6 ring fixture (the actual picture shown on website was 8 ring). I received the 8 ring version; the PICTURE INSTRUCTIONS were for 6 rings so did not match with the parts received. NO WRITTEN INSTRUCTIONS!! Took 2 people over three hours (mostly with hands up in the air supporting light fixture while trying to figure out where and how to put the metal box which houses all the internal electrical parts) so it could be screwed to the ceiling electrical box. Still don't know if it is safe having the provided metal box laying loose in the ceiling plate that is mounted with 4 bolts that hinder the circles from being maneuvered to look like the picture shown on the website. Amazed it actually turned on when we were done. Gave it 3 stars because the light is dimmable and at highest setting it is amazingly bright. But still worried if it is really safe with all the electrical connections and the loose box, because again no written instructions. ... show more
