This is a nice little boat. If you just want to get a water! F, you want to drag a skier, or do acrobatics, this is not your boat! This is a bathtub! With a motor on the ass end of it! You will float. And you will go. You will do neither of those things quickly! If you want to get a small boat that you can take apart and stow in the back of your SUV, this is the one for you. Just be aware, but you never going to go anywhere quickly! I have a 4 horsepower, four stroke engine on mine. I'm thinking about going to a six horsepower. But the weightl is an issue. If you want a simple boat to get on onto the water? This is a good choice! The full depth of the boat, itself, is about 18 in. Floating. I have mine rigged up as a;: 4 HP motorboat, a rowboat, and I have a sailing rig for it also! This boat is an excellent day sailer! Waited a few months before posting review. Very impressed with little boat. It's actually quite spacious and stable. No issues whatsoever. Taken it out on the river dozens of times now. I put two trolling motors on the back and added some plywood for reinforcement. Some things to be aware of: Takes some time to assemble/ disassemble. Don't expect to use a big powerful motor or take it out to the open sea. It's simply not built to be able to handle high speeds or high waves. It's perfect for calm rivers and lakes. ... show more
