I'll admit that I was a bit hesitant at first to spend $100 on a pair of trauma shears that I get for free at work. I'm a firefighter/EMT and use these often. Someone at work had this same leatherman tool and I got to use his first hand. I was impressed. Not only are they stronger and will outlast the free shears, but they fold up and has other handy uses that just make this pair of shears more personal. Well, I broke down and ordered my own and I'm glad that I did. I've already used them for miscellaneous reasons around my house. They re lubricated to make use simple and I already love mine! The belt holster is also pretty cool. I wasn't going to use it at first because I thought it would be too bulky, but I tried it on and its more convenient to fold up my shears and slide them in the clip for safer storage instead of my pocket. I'll get great use out of the O2 wrench and seatbelt cutter i no time, The ring cutter as a bit on the thin side, but I'm sure with 2 quick cuts I'll be able to get a rind off someone in need with ease until the man vrs machine tools get on scene. Love my shears!

So, these are super versatile, and it's great. As someone who works both in law enforcement, and am going through EMT school, I love these! I've been able to use them on multiple occasions, and it's great having multiple capabilities in one, and I love the ability to fold them and put them in my pocket via the clip Out of all the high end trauma shears out there, these take the cake. I'd also recommend them over cheaper ones, because they're multi use. The cheap trauma shears are good for 1-2 uses before they dull out completely

My husband is a fire medic and uses these everyday since getting them. He loves how easily they fold and release (even though it did take some practice at first). He has not run into any issues of them not cutting through fabric or seatbelts and is often his first choice when needing to cut something due to their accessibility on his body as it comes with a belt hook.

I’m left handed and have always struggled using normal shears with my left hand. These work so incredibly well even cutting through super thick jeans. The newer holster is even better as my previous raptor holsters has fallen apart easily. Even the seat belt cutter works great. The only issue I have is the center punch. It’s probably just a user issue since I’m used to a spring loaded one but I really do love my raptors

I work as a nurse and I use these almost daily. They are great for wound dressings and just general purpose cutting. The portability of them was what really sold me, I lost count how many times I have lost other shears and or having some rip through my scrubs. The use of the sheath keeps me from losing them.

Why did I wait so long to buy this tool?! The scissors are perfect for trimming and cutting ratchet straps and paracord, so I'm sure they would also work for their intended purpose of cutting away clothing, seatbelts, straps, etc. during an emergency. A must have for any serious camping or overlanding kit.
