After not riding kneeboard a for 20 years. I bought this after researching many boards. I wanted to introduce my kids to the great times I have fond memories of. I was the first to ride this. WOW. With the rope hook and design I easily got up and went back in time 20 years. So much fun. So easy to ride. And for only a little over a $100. Amazing value seems plenty strong (I am 6’2” at 230lbs). We chose this for our two seven year olds who have never knee boarded or been skiing. They have rode in tubes before but overall nothing else. We first practiced in a pool just so they knew the process of sliding up on the board without all of the other distractions. Then we just practiced hanging out by ourself in the water without the boat around in a lake. Next they picked it up right away dnd did great. The board is easy to ride on for them and lightweight for them to operate. Other people say they can ride without the strap and I believe they could we just hadn’t yet.     • Tighten the screws.

My 10 year old son loves this kneeboard. He's cuttin across the wake and catching air. I'm giving 2 stars because all 4 of the screws that secure the side strap brackets have worked loose and one of the screws is now lost making the board unusable until we get a replacement screw. We've only had this kneeboard a couple of weeks. Otherwise a great kneeboard for the price. Update 7/10/19. I got in touch with Leaders Accessories by email. They are shipping me replacement screws. We had kids from ages 7-40ish using this for the first time this summer. Everyone loved it and was able to get up on the first try. Soft on the knees, rope holder in the front is a must and very helpful. Was a great confidence booster for kids not quite ready to ski or wakeboard. This kneeboard worked awesome for my 12, 10, and 6 year old. And then I even got up on it on the first try. This is not a sport for someone with bad knees (so I didn't last long) but the kids loved it. My 10 year old was even able to move the tow rope between the front hook and his hands multiple times on the same ride. We loved having the front hook on the front for the tow rope handle, this made it easy for the 6 year old to ride. Learning to get up from a dead stop in the water was a little tricky but they got it! ... show more

This was a birthday gift for my soon to be 11yo grandson. My son said he didn't need it because he had something that all 4 of his kids could and did use for being pulled behind the boat. As an experienced mom/nana, I knew that for this 11yo, who is the youngest of the 4, would really love having this as his own. The colors were better than in the photo, and the look/smile on his face was worth it. He told me later that it worked great, he really loved it, and thanked me again! We wanted to try knee boarding at the lake, so after some research we chose this one. Our daughter, age 39, and grandkids, age 8-13 were able to get up on it the first time they tried. Now they like it better than being pulled on a float! It was a great choice for us!!
