The product is very light duty. As instructed did not run continuously more than 30 minutes. How ever after about 3 sessions it began popping the breaker. There are no instruction on where to get repaired or get repair parts. 30 min sessions are not enough time to cast a reasonable amount.

If you are jewelry Maker this is for you the heat is great it heats are very fast so we were able to use it to make some weights for our fishing Poles but you can also use it to make jury silver gold.

    • I like this melting pot much safer than using a torch
I used it for making small weights. It worked fine for heating lead. I would have liked it more if it had a thermostat. To control the temp I turned it off and on to control the temp which is fine with me I don't use it that often for it to be an issue. For the occasional user it should work well.

This is all aluminum which is great for durability, but the quality is not good. This is not sturdy and wobbles easily. If you bump it, it can even tip right over. The aluminum edges are super sharp and I nearly cut myself on them. I did not even feel safe to use this. Not happy at all
