When I saw these molds I knew I instantly wanted them because I have been on a resin crystal mold purchasing spree trying to pick up pretty much every different variety I can find as I work my way through learning to do geodes and other resin crystal projects. I was a little skeptical at how they would turn out in reality though and while they are dang big (with the smallest one using I believe around 5 oz of resin and the largest uses under 7 oz if I remember correctly which is quite a bit for each piece and requires you either pour in multiple layers using two part epoxy or to pour with deep poor resin) the results are totally worth it! They look awesome and really stand out more than I thought they would. The quality of the mold silicone itself is excellent which is great because trying to de-mold these resin pieces is a pain in the butt! Which besides the volume of resin needed for these pieces is one of the only additional downsides. But the silicone is sturdy and thick which holds the correct form even when so much resin is used and doesn't give you any problems when you have to slowly force the finished piece out. I definitely recommend a couple squirts of dish soap and some water to assist in removal. The only final thing I can think of that is a drawback is trying to avoid a bubble sitting at the very tip of the crystal but I get around that issue by dropping a small amount of UV resin in and curing it before I fill the remainder of the mold up with my two part. Since you only need just a tiny drop in the very peak of the mold you won't even notice it later on when the full piece is finished, even when I use clear UV for that tip and have colored resin for the rest. Plus since the mold is so sturdy with excellent support pieces under the tip you don't have to worry about that little part popping away from the mold when you're pouring the rest of the resin in. I had a great coupon when I put this order in and some money from Amazon's survey app payments so my final cost was extremely reasonable for three large excellently made huge crystal point molds.

We used these molds to make orgonite towers. The molds worked very well and were easy to clean after. They did not need mold release but it may depend on what resin you use. We did find adding some water when removing made it easier. Great price.

Demolding these is TOUGH but expected. They are sturdy thick molds so im not worried about tearing them as much. Excellent price for the whole set.

The molds work really well. The two drawbacks are that you have to layer the epoxy in several steps, but getting a quick setting epoxy helps. The finished product can be tricky to remove, so definitely be gentile when removing the finished piece.

I absolutely love this mold! As a professional resin artist- I use a lot of different molds and brands! Let’s resin has never let me down- the quality and price are unbeatable! It is also extremely easy to turn these crystal towers into your own work of art!
