I purchased this mold and was skeptical because of a few “not so satisfying” reviews. I generally like to be the judge of what works for me. I would like to give a tip for what worked for me with this mold. I did not pour all of my resin at once. The mold is not flimsy but deep. The sturdiness can depend on which type of resin you use. I poured mine in increments of three, letting each layer settle for 15 to 25 minutes before pouring another layer. It came out very sturdy, a good weight and very detailed. I love it and will continue to use it. I provided a photo of the finished product and because it’s personalized I covered the name with a napkin. Hope this helps someone. ... show more

    • this the worst tray mold I’ve ever used thin and flimsy uneven and tears use one with real support
I’ve been using resin for four years and this is one of the worst mold I’ve ever used it tore the very first time I used it and no I did not use a frame I only use a heat gun at a very low temp so I hit return they requested to make it right and send me another, and they Did and the same thing happened I got a flimsy tray that had uneven sides from no side support And a. tray that was all over uneven and once again tore not just tore it shred And I didn’t use heat at all, i’d recommending using a better brand and better mold I prefer the let’s resin tray mold it Has so much support on the bottom and works so much better, whenever buying a tree mold choose one with support on the bottom at minimum!! please don’t waste your money on products like this!! just because anyone can buy and make a mold with silicone doesn’t mean you should ... show more

This tray is huge compared to the other ones I've bought of similar styles. It lends itself to a lot of design opportunities. However, you do need a frame to reinforce the sides because they are not straight and they won't stay straight once you pour this. It definitely needs to be a thicker mold.

    • Great mold..lots of possibilities
I have used this mold for everything from skeletons to unicorn designs, embedded glass and glow in the dark... nice simple design with a good design space for any taste. Just make sure you keep the edges squared while it is curing :)

    • Warped or bent
When opened some of the silicone mold is bent or warped giving it a curve instead of straight. Don’t know if it was due to packaging and shipping but either way now when I pour in epoxy it will have a curve.
