So this is packaged great, very secure. It looks simple to put together (it is-align the two wood posts with the hole in the middle and use the screw to secure them together), however, there's no instructions. I was able to figure it out (it's really not hard lol) BUT I was a little lost on the stickers. I had to go to their listing here to see they were meant to help it to secure the bowl so that it wouldn't move around. Well, I didn't know beforehand so I used one set underneath to use it as a floor protector *shrug*. Don't know what the clear bumpers are for though as I didn't see that mentioned at all on here. So the sticker / bumper things were useless for me because I placed half in the wrong area and the other half didn't seem to help secure the bowl at all. However, if I end up finding that to be an issue I'll figure out something. I'm just appreciative of finding a slow feeder with a STAND that had good reviews to base my purchase on. My staffy puppy is fast growing and is quite tall-the slow feeder we were using before had no stand so it was just flat on the floor and it was quite small and hard to hold much food. This bowl though is really nice, great weight to it and a really pretty colour. I have no doubts it'll be easy to throw in the dishwasher. It's the perfect size for my fast growing staffy puppy who eats as if she's been starved smh lol. It really helps her to slow down and (hopefully, enjoy the food too hahaha) no longer choke from eating too fast. She used to eat in half the time it takes my roommate's GSD to eat (and he's a big boy), but now the GSD finishes before my staffy! Super happy with the purchase. This bowl is great! It slows my pups's feeding at least 3-4 times, he can finally eat a bowl of food without vomiting it up right afterwards or getting car sick. The bowl is large and heavy so it isn't easily used as a hocky puck for play afterwards, and isn't chewable. I was a little worried he might bite the ridges in the bowl, but this hasn't been an issue at all and he seems very comfortable and happy to eat from it. This is a ceramic bowl (no rubber bottom) so it can slide on hard floors a bit, just needs to be set on a mat or similar if your pup pushes it around too much. Material is sturdy and glazed with good coverage so it does look and feel nice, not cheap. Favorite slow feed bowl so far, highly recommended! ... show more

I am really glad that I got this bowl. My Shih Tzu used to eat her food within seconds, and it caused her to have an upset stomach, vomitting,etc. I have only been using this bowl for about a week but things have improved a lot. The bowl is also very sturdy, looks nice and is easy to clean. I am really happy with it, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking to slow down a dog that eats really fast. I really like how this slow feeder does it’s job. It really does slow down the feeding. My dog was extremely over weight, and I tried various slow feeders, and they did the job, but it was difficult to wash by hand because they were made out of plastic(no dishwasher at my home) so I looked at some ceramic ones because I saw that one of your clients bought one for her dog. (I work at a doggy daycare as a manager) and thought to get one! It cleans very easily by hand if you keep up with the cleaning everyday. The only thing is that it may very slippery to wash by hand, so please be careful as mine broke today on the side when I was washing it :( I’ve only had it for exactly a month. Might purchase another if I try to wash it carefully haha ... show more

My dog has to have a slow feeder bowl because he eats too fast and gets sick. I’ve had a few plastic bowls that worked well but over time they started peeling, even with only hand washing. I didn’t like the idea of my dog potentially eating any of the plastic fragments so I decided to look for a stoneware or ceramic bowl that I could replace his previous bowl with. That’s when I came across this one and it’s been great so far! It’s easy to clean, comes in a lot of colors, and is plastic free. This bowl design in large for our 52 lb Golden Doodle got him to go from eating a cup of dry kibble in under 5 minutes to now just under 15 minutes. No GERD, vomiting, or belching any longer. Our cat Charlie has a over eating problem where he gobbled his food down to puke it back up. But these bowls have severely cut down on this problem. We have two cats and four of these bowls in different colors and patterns. We mix it up every day and it has slowed both cats down. They are hard to clean but easier to clean than puke! ... show more

I wanted a ceramic slow feeder for my 90lb dog for 2 main reasons, 1) plastic is bad and can cause face acne and 2) he eats way too fast in a regular bowl. I previously had a 2 cup bowl and he still ate it pretty fast. I've fed him 2 meals in the 3 cup ceramic slow feeder (green) and I can already tell it's easier for him to eat with the stand and he's eating slower because of the great design.
