Love the quality of Le Creuset stoneware and been looking for a vessel for my BBQ rub, so this is perfect. It fits a 16 oz. batch of my homemade BBQ all-purpose rub and the lid closes air-tight. This canister has some weight to it, but is not overly heavy. It’s well-constructed and looks phenomenal in my coastal kitchen environment (next to some of my other Caribbean-colored Le Creuset pieces). Although this one is Sea Salt, (Caribbean wasn’t available), I actually like it better so everything isn’t so matchy-matchy — they complement each other very well! This would make a great gift for any culinary enthusiast, great value for the $ and it’s easy to clean (dishwasher safe, but not the lid). The lid is hand wash only. Le Creuset's storage canister is handsome and solid with a beautiful wood lid. The seal is perfect for keeping my loose black tea fresh. It is so nice not to have to wrestle with dipping my measuring spoon into the paper bag the tea came in.

Nice. Like the color. Like the amount it holds. The lid is easy to remove but seals well at the same time. Easy to clean too. A bit overpriced for what it is though. Still useful and I keep it on my counter by the stove so it's always at the ready when cooking.
