Why use a cheap sheet metal stopper on a fine bottle of Champagne? It just seems wrong. This stopper looks and feels great. If you drink fine wines from high quality stemware, this is the stopper/sealer for you.

    • Works Great, Well Worth the Investment
If you invest in high quality champagne, you should invest in Le Creuset's Champagne Crown Sealer (or another product of similar quality). My Best Gal and I rarely leave any Perrier Jouet in the bottle, but when we do, this keeps it sparkling and flavorful for 24 hours. In fact, I'm having some day old Perrier Jouet with dinner tonight and I'm looking quite forward to it. As said elsewhere, this is heavy and formidable; not a cheaply made item and well worth the money. Update, 9-27-18: I recently left a half empty bottle of Perrier Jouet in the refrigerator for 7 days, using Le Creuset's Champagne Crown Sealer. I opened the crown sealer and heard a satisfying "woosh! when I cracked open the bottle. Much to my surprise, the champagne tasted quite decent.     • The Best Champagne sealer **EVER**
We drink a lot of a certain Spanish Cava, and they redesigned the bottle recently. Suddenly, my Rabbit sealer didn't fit. In fact, by forcing it on and off the bottle I was ripping the insides to shreds. I don't usually buy a "New" product, because I depend upon other people's reviews, but decided to take a chance on this, mostly because it was a Le Creuset. Wow, I'm so glad I did. Why would I pay $8+ for a sealer that lasts a year or so, when THIS is available?! Seriously, it saves the bubbles so much better than any other sealer I've ever used. Even when there is only one glass left in the bottle, and it's been in the fridge for over a day, there is audible pressure release when opening! And while the bubbles have obviously decreased, it is not flat like with other sealers. This sealer is very sturdy-feeling, fits securey (I wouldn't worry about taking it on a picnic), and even fits my suddenly-wider bottle neck. 5-Stars, highly recommended. I can't believe the price, and wonder if they'll raise it after it's been out a little bit. ... show more

This definitely keeps my champagne as fresh as it can. Read about it on a Car and Driver article, and they were right. This is the best option to preserve champagne. It fits most bottle tops except for Dom Perignon… but then again, once you open a bottle of Dom, it would be a sin to not finish it.

We drink a good bit of champagne at home, and have been using this for years without any issues. It’ll keep a bottle sealed for a couple of days at a time, even if there’s only a glass left in there. I’ve gifted it before and have more than one. Unless you’re going to invest in a device that pumps gas into your bottle, this is the best you can get. The only warning is that there are some bottles that have a slightly different opening and it won’t fit, and it obviously won’t fit the larger bottles (jeroboams and on up). ... show more

Bought this for a champagne lover. He had plastic ones before that broke after a while. He said this one works well and notices the difference in quality. I'm not one to know about these things, but just holding this, you can tell it's made well. It's heavy and sturdy. Worth the money spent.

I’ve purchased a number of Champagne stoppers and none of them have done what this Le Creuset one does: So easy to put on/take off and the bubbles stay for several days ( this past week the champagnes was still fresh after 4 days!!! Worth the money.
