Description

A smart and stylish addition to any in-home bar, this sleek crown sealer eliminates waste by preserving the flavor and finish of previously opened bottles of champagne or sparkling wine. The unit features an air-tight food- safe rubber seal, which secures around standard bottle crowns to lock carbonation inside and preserve contents for days--no more flat, tasteless pours when serving from partially full bottles. To use, simply screw the device onto the top of an opened bottle, and then flip down its switch-style valve to lock in the pressure and maintain all that delicious fizz. The sealer's high-quality metal construction ensures reliable use from one bottle to the next, while its airtight seal allows for storing bottles on their side without leaking. With its sleek, contemporary finish, the champagne crown sealer measures approximately 1-1/2 by 3 by 3 inches and carries a 10-year limited warranty.

  • Recipient loves it!
Bought this for a champagne lover. He had plastic ones before that broke after a while. He said this one works well and notices the difference in quality. I'm not one to know about these things, but just holding this, you can tell it's made well. It's heavy and sturdy. Worth the money spent.

  • Don’t waste the sparkling wine!
This is so much better than the other stoppers. Easy to use, very secure and well made.

  • Works Great, Well Worth the Investment
If you invest in high quality champagne, you should invest in Le Creuset's Champagne Crown Sealer (or another product of similar quality). My Best Gal and I rarely leave any Perrier Jouet in the bottle, but when we do, this keeps it sparkling and flavorful for 24 hours. In fact, I'm having some day old Perrier Jouet with dinner tonight and I'm looking quite forward to it. As said elsewhere, this is heavy and formidable; not a cheaply made item and well worth the money. Update, 9-27-18: I recently left a half empty bottle of Perrier Jouet in the refrigerator for 7 days, using Le Creuset's Champagne Crown Sealer. I opened the crown sealer and heard a satisfying "woosh! when I cracked open the bottle. Much to my surprise, the champagne tasted quite decent. It wasn't the same as a new bottle, of course, but it was very impressive. Again, I highly recommend this product. ... show more

  • Works very well.
It works very well and great for sealing a bottle if you don’t use the entire bottle.

  • Finally a champagne stopper that works!!!❤️
I love my champagne and typically can't drink the entire bottle. I have tried every champagne stopper on the market and this is the only one that keeps the bubbles for days/weeks!!! I love love love this stopper! Totally worth the money!!!

  • Pricey, but feels like the only champagne stopper I'll ever need
I had never heard of a champagne stopper until my cousin, who drinks a bottle every week or so, mentioned it to me. Knowing nothing about them, I bought this one, and the Westmark banded style one https://www.amazon.com/Westmark-6012556C-Monopol-Champagne-Horizontally/dp/B000VZ8RGS/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_product_top?ie=UTF8 Side by side, they both feel like quality pieces. In use however, no where near each other. I was able to get the Le Creuset to keep a bottle fresh for over a week, with multiple openings. With the Westmark, I opened a bottle 3 days ago, threw the top on, and just opened it for a glass of bubbly, only to be disappointed. It appears to have kept some sort of pressure, but no different than a rubber wine bottle cork or a piece of tape. The Le Creuset totally works, its a bit tall, but keeps bottles fresh for a long long time and is very easy to use. Feels high quality, even shipped in a fancy, felt-lined box. If you're going to buy one, buy a lever style. This one is pricey, feels worth it since I can't imagine I'll need as many champagne stoppers as I do wine stoppers, so I don't mind spending the extra money for it to work ... show more
