I bought this to pour a concrete slab and saving on renting, using the Quickcrete 60lb bags, it has worked really well. I found it easier using one bag at a time, but does take two which is about the max for this size. The turn handle has two sides, one for mortar, the other is for concrete, the angle of mixing is important for each. The instructions were not great, but not a complicated assembly. Overall for the price and the use, I am very pleased, and not breaking the wallet!

Mixer works great, but instructions to put together are very incomplete took way longer than expected to assemble. Shipping was FEDEX, item came from CA so I expected in AZ without problem. FEDEX shipped it from CA to NC then TN, then TX going across country before it arrived in AZ about 5 days late with box damaged.

Started a footing project for a shed last month and needed something to handle the concrete work without renting a big mixer every weekend. This one fit the bill well for the scope of what I was doing. Putting it together took me roughly an hour with the included manual, the diagrams could use some improvement but everything lined up correctly and all the bolts and washers were accounted for. The steel frame feels rigid once assembled, no wobble or play in the joints when its running. The motor handles a standard 60 pound bag of concrete mix without bogging down, drum keeps a steady rotation throughout the cycle. The 4.3 cubic foot drum capacity meant fewer batches to get through my project, which saved time compared to mixing by hand in a wheelbarrow like I used to do. The wheelbarrow style design is honestly what sold me on this one over the traditional stand mounted mixers, being able to roll it across the yard to where the work is happening instead of carrying buckets back and forth was a back saver. The wheels handle grass and rough ground decently, even rolled it through some mud after a rain without getting stuck. Cleaning the polymer drum out is straightforward as long as you rinse it before the concrete cures, learned that lesson on day one when some leftover mix turned to stone overnight. The pour position locks in place which gives you control when emptying the drum into a wheelbarrow or directly into a form. A few things worth noting though, the motor warms up after extended runs so giving it a break between heavy batches is a good idea. Theres also a fair amount of noise during operation, hearing protection makes a difference. The handles for tilting could be better padded, my hands felt it after a long day. For homeowners doing their own concrete work, this is a useful tool and I’d reccomend it.

Needed a mixer to do 2 cobble stone aprons and circle driveway border. This mixer did the job. Mixed a bag and a half roughly each time, occasionally 2 bags, 80lb bags, didnt want to push it too hard, definitely made my life a lot easier!

instructions are good , under 30 minutes to complete. Make sure you put the rubber gasket between the metal drums, tape it in place much easier. Works excellent, very impressed
