I like these portable writing tablets that keep the grandkids busy, during slow 'wait times' at restaurants, road-trips, .... This one has a little color to the picture. The frame is sturdier than some others, and comes with a lanyard, to attach the stylus to the frame, so it doesn't get lost. The back of the frame has a 'lock/unlock' switch, which turns it on, and also locks the picture in place as you draw, to avoid accidental erasure. Nice feature.

We got this for our niece and she loves it! The capability to hand off a creative, mess-free tool to a toddler is one anyone would jump on. The writing tablet works great and as advertised and is well worth the cost. The one big downside we noticed, and perhaps this will get better with age, is the pen is not attached in any way. This makes it easily get lost in the car, at home, the garden, the lake, at the airport or just about anywhere a toddler finds they're no longer interested in holding it.
