Returned immediately without putting together. This hammock quilt was only 5’8” long. That is 9 inches shorter than advertised, and too short for a lot of men to lay on (like my husband). I’m frustrated that I waisted my time. This is very dishonest on the part of this seller.

The stand is great! Easy to assemble and holds up great (my boyfriend and I both have laid in the hammock and had no issues). My only issue was the hammock itself. We live in Hawaii and with the padding, it was a little too hot. It also ripped pretty quickly after we got it. Also if it got wet, it stayed wet for like a whole day! I’m sure if you kept it well covered and live somewhere colder, it would be perfect! Just not for us. I have bought a new hammock, but still using the stand! ... show more

The majority of reviews for this hammock were positive, so I purchased it. I should have paid more attention to a few that said it was slippery. No kidding! The second time getting into it I fell out and hit the ground and crossbar hard. The stand seems sturdy and the hammock itself is not bad quality, but I'm hoping there's some way I can exchange the hammock for rope or cotton, since I don't want to constantly think about safety while using it. ... show more

The hammock was extremely easy to assemble and it looks very aesthetic when put together! You slip together a few bars that lock right in place. You have to lay a certain way otherwise it tips quickly but once you’re settled in the right position it’s extremely comfortable... just don’t make any sudden movements. There are not enough chain loops included so the hammock is completely taunt at eye level and unusable. I have to go to the hardware store to figure out a way to extend the length. Super frustrating.

I don’t know if it’s just me, but I keep sliding out of this thing and bruising myself on the pole underneath. The fabric is super slippery and I’m scared to get on half the time. Btw, I’ve never fallen out of a hammock until we got this thing. I will say it was super easy to put together (although I did manage to hurt myself by getting pinched) and the material feels nice a cool. I don’t think the sizing is right or the sizing was meant for small people (like kids) because I don’t think both my husband and I will fit on it comfortably (mostly scared of falling off). ... show more
