This is an excellent hammock! It's more of a plastic material but dirt brushes off easily and it's easy to clean. It was easy to set up, we hooked it up with a ratchet strap around the trees and skipped the S hooks that came in, but we do take it down after using because the recommendations say to. This has not stretched out of shape at all and the spreader bar makes it easy for two people to comfortably lounge in it. I found it a little on the pricy side but I think it will hold up for a few summers. ... show more

I love my hammock! I like the 'solid' piece of nylon 'fabric' as opposed to the hammocks that are macrame net. Body parts don't fall through this one! This hammock is durable and I love that it dries quickly after a rain. I've read many good books laying in it. I've also taken some good naps in it.     • wooden spreader bar needs a better finish applied to it.

the finish on the wooden spreader bar started flaking off 3 weeks after I set the hammock up for the summer. It started to develop a few hairline cracks after the finish flaked off. I've since applied an exterior wood finish on the bar to protect it from the elements.
