I needed a hammock for my stand to replace a light nylon one that I apparently found such a good place for over the winter, that I hid it from myself. :/ I liked that this one was cotton but still seemed to pack down small. I got it yesterday, and when I opened the box, I was hit with a musty smell and the hammock inside the package was damp (the box was perfectly dry, and it was clear it had been packed up damp). If it had been for inside my house, I definitely would have returned it, but since it was going right out into the sun, I hoped it would be ok. After getting rained on last night and drying out in the sun all day, I am pleased that it now smells fine. Aside from that, it is a great little hammock. I got the multi-colored stripes, and the colors are great and it is very cute in my yard. I love the cotton fabric--sturdy but not too bulky, and it does pack up pretty small into a nice little matching bag. It is definitely not large, but the measurements in the description are accurate. It's good for one person. Very happy now that it no longer smells like mold.

I bought another hammock that wouldn’t fit on my hammock stand. It was only for trees. I returned it and bought this hammock that will stretch back far enough for the hooks on the stand no matter how far down I need to place them. The other hammock had a wooden cross bar at the top and the ropes couldn’t stretch to the hook in back. This is sturdy and large enough to lie comfortably. I can easily take it off the stand when it’s going to rain or when I need to store it safely inside the house. I won’t be using it for hiking or camping, but it does come with rope for tree installation as well. The material is very sturdy and will hold a large person easily.

This is a great one person hammock. It was I expensive And perfect for our hammock stand. I wanted A two person to replace the one that broke but they were so expensive so I opted to try this. And at the price, it was totally worth it even though it’s only for one person not snuggles you in.
