Great hammock, love it! I have been looking for a replacement hammock for our old cloth hammock and stumbled across this product and immediately bought it. The product description promised two hardwood spreaders which would be able to hold up the hammock and soft handcrafted ropes. The wooden spreaders did feel like they were good quality upon inspection and seem very sturdy. The ropes are nice and thick and do not hurt at all when I am laying down on the hammock. They are nicely interwoven and make a tight net, so you do not have to be scared to fall through. The hammock also can hold up two persons just like promised and it does not even feel like a too tight fit. For the installation we decided to also get a hammock stand which is sadly not included in the package, but for the price totally understandable. The installation of the hammock was totally easy with the stand, and we had it done in a couple of minutes. I think the installation of the hammock would have been slightly more complicated if we would have done it with trees, but with the hammock stand it was no problem at all. The magazine bag and the cup holder that are included in the package are also a great addition to the set and just make it a lot more comfortable to relax and be able to get a magazine without moving. For now, the hammock has been holding up very well outside, but I would absolutely recommend getting the hammock inside during bad weather to make sure it will last longer. I really enjoy this hammock and would definitely recommend it as an alternative to the usual cloth hammock which get worn out really quickly and also dirty. A great product for a great price!

The media could not be loaded. I honestly love my hammock tremendously. I placed in my backyard and lay down to read or take the sun, I can say is my favorite moment of the day. This is my second one -which I’ll be taking to the beach or family vacations - it’s just amazing. Also the material is great. Highly recommended.

I was excited to go check it out after my husband hung it up for me to inspect. Needless to say, I am not thrilled with this. Only 2 things warrant the 1 star: the hardware is thick and looks pretty heavy duty, the seems on the rings and chain are soldered so they shouldn't come apart and the rope is soft. Those are the only pros There are big gaps in the mesh where the twisting is wrong, this might be fixed with a bit of spreading and manipulating the ropes. There are some extra knots near the spreader bar where they have added cord, and the knots are not very tight. The spreader bar is so light weight and already had a small crack on the top. I wouldn't even think about getting on this thing, the ropes are so loose that even if it held me, (less than 150lbs) I would be touching the ground. That is if the spreader bar didn't snap first, because it actually feels like it might. I'm going to have to redo the whole thing to make it usable. They say in the description that it checked at "all levels" of quality control. I think they missed the boat on this one.

I have always had cloth hammocks and been envious of rope ones, but they were so expensive! This is a reasonable price, and definitely has exceeded my expectations thus far. It came in a nice carrying case which would make traveling super easy. I love that it has the spreader bar that will make it simpler to get in and out of. Metal chains and hooks appear to be pretty durable and the rope is heavy which leads me to believe it will last a bit. I love that it also came with the magazine and cup holder! Can't wait to enjoy this item on a summer day!

Our cloth hammock deteriorated after years of outdoor use and this rope hammock is a great replacement. This hammock is very comfortable and the included cup holder and magazine bag are a great way to keep items close by and not falling to the ground. Right out of the box it took less than a minute to install the rope hammock onto the metal hammock base that we already had. This hammock also includes heavy duty tree hooks if you have two trees close by. The built in chains are well made and should hold up to many years of outdoor use.

Much heavier than I thought it would be. Normally a cheap hammock will last me 2 seasons since I leave them hooked up all year long. For the price, you can't go wrong. It's not exactly the time of year to put this outside, but I inspected it - we have 10" of snow on the ground here so hanging it will have to wait. I have 6" x 6" treated lumber posts in cement and this hammock will fit for sure. Everything you need is included. Very nice. As long as you don't look close, people driving by will be fooled that it's a Pawley's.

This is a VERY comfortable hammock- I challenge you to NOT fall asleep in it! Quality materials and good construction, it looks like it's going to last. The cotton rope is soft with just enough give to it. We hang ours on a strap between two trees, because we bring it with us when we're camping. It does come with the hardware to permanently install in trees, though. While we've never used it, it looks to be well made and would serve it's purpose well.
