    • Install was a little tricky
I had a little trouble with getting the tension right and once I did it was a struggle to get the blinds in place. More than once the blinds popped out. The final time the tension screw flew across the room along with the internal spring. Basically, I broke it. However, I was still able to get the blind in place securely and it seems to be working just fine. Maybe having a second set of hands would have been helpful. ... show more

My first order of this item was not the right size (43'Wx64"W). That one was my own fault. So I ordered again for the smaller size which I was sure would fit my window (there isn't anywhere that states exactly how to measure or how big the blinds are with the springs activated and deactivated plus the cushion pads etc). I open the box and go to set it up and it DOES NOT FIT! I still have the first order I made since I haven't returned it yet, so I decided to measure both of them together side by side and they are BOTH the same size even though my second order is supposed to be the next size down (39"Wx64"H)! I decided to just give up on even trying these because it's become too much of a hassle. Now I have two blinds to return. If you're lucky enough to get the correct size I think these blinds would work pretty nicely for someone like me that lives in an apartment and doesn't want to damage the walls. I just really wish I could have gotten a chance to experience them on my window. I'll just have to go the curtain route and make some holes in the wall. :( ... show more

Our package arrived without one of the parts -- a cosmetic cover for the large plastic screws used to adjust the width of the support rod. The company mailed me another, after I filed a "missing parts" complaint here on Amazon. Good service. Installation was a little harder than I thought it would be, but that might be due to the fact I had minor surgery a couple days before and was still feeling "blah". Was looking for a temporary solution until I figure out what type of blind or shutter I want for this huge window in my new shower and this was the perfect fit. And the best part was it took less than 5 minutes to install and I didn’t need any tools. The tension piece on each end is a little chintzy but it seems to be holding in place just fine.
