Its alot shorter than you would think but it works really good. The dirt i used it on was pretty hard but it powered through and i ended up watering it before continuing. Thick enough i cant imagine bending it unless you try pushing down on the handle.

Returned 1st one. Second one NO MANUAL TO PUT TOGETHER. If I can't figure it out it's going back to. INSTRUCTIONS OR USER MANUEL INCLUDED. SCREWS LOOSE IN BOX DON'T KNOW IF I HAVE ALL THE PARTS. SOOOO DISAPPOINTED.

It is sturdy build, easy to assemble. My intention was to do “plug aeration” and the plugs won’t pop out of the tool. After puncturing 2-3 set of holes you need to use a screwdriver or something else to unplug the spikes. The solution would be the plug spikes are thinner at the tip and wider at the base. The tool is not really effective for plug aeration.
