Using a pour-over, I made myself a 20-ounce cup of coffee this afternoon using the Lavazza Espresso and the flavor is excellent-rich, well balanced, medium roast. Comparing this fine coffee to the Lavazza Crema, I think the Crema is a little better: has a richer taste with hints of caramel, so while I give 5 stars to the Espresso, I like the Crema a tad better. Nevertheless, the Espresso is a much better deal, so I will continue to buy it.

I love Lavazza coffee. It’s not cheap, but most good things in life don’t come cheap. It’s the only coffee I drink at home. have a decent espresso machine (Breville Barista Express) which, paired with Lavazza is, to me, the closest to having a true Italian espresso outside of Italy. I buy this coffee in the bean form for my home coffee maker. Just two people drinking coffee most of the time so it doesn't break the bank. It is so good, can't find another brand I like as well. It is reliably good. It might take you a few tries to get your bean to pot ratio just right. The flavor changes if you make it stronger or weaker, but it is always smooth and never bitter. Sometimes I change it up a bit (especially in the winter) with just a tiny tiny touch of cinnamon in the beans before they are ground. If you do too much, it isn't good. It's just like the essence of cinnamon but not the intense flavor. You won't be disappointed.
