A Bold and Flavorful Delight - 5 Stars
Flavor Name: Caffe Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Lavazza Espresso Italiano Whole Bean Coffee Blend, Medium Roast has earned a special place in my heart as my go-to everyday blend. As a coffee enthusiast, I can confidently say that this espresso roast is a bold and flavorful delight that never fails to impress. Pros: Bolder Version of Super Crema: While I already adore Lavazza's Super Crema blend, the Espresso Italiano takes it up a notch with its bolder taste. It offers a more robust and intense coffee experience, perfect for days when I'm craving an extra kick. Rich Flavor Profile: The medium roast strikes a perfect balance, delivering a rich and full-bodied taste with notes of nutty sweetness. It's a flavor profile that leaves a lasting impression on my taste buds. Versatile and Refreshing: This espresso blend is incredibly versatile, allowing me to enjoy it as a traditional espresso shot or as a base for various coffee creations, like lattes or cappuccinos. Regardless of how I prepare it, the result is always a satisfying and refreshing cup of coffee. Change of Pace: As much as I adore Lavazza's Super Crema, the Espresso Italiano offers a welcomed change of pace. It's the perfect option when I'm seeking a slightly different coffee experience without straying too far from the trusted Lavazza quality. In all honesty, I struggle to find any significant drawbacks with this coffee blend. The only thing I would mention is that if you prefer a milder or lighter coffee, the bolder nature of the Espresso Italiano might not be the ideal choice for you. In conclusion, Lavazza Espresso Italiano Whole Bean Coffee Blend, Medium Roast is an exceptional addition to Lavazza's remarkable lineup. It's my go-to coffee for daily enjoyment and a delightful change of pace from the Super Crema blend. The rich flavor, versatility, and consistent quality make it a true 5-star coffee blend that I wholeheartedly recommend to any coffee lover seeking a bold and unforgettable experience. ... show more

Well Balanced Medium Roast Espresso in Whole Beans
Flavor Name: Caffe Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
Using a pour-over, I made myself a 20-ounce cup of coffee this afternoon using the Lavazza Espresso and the flavor is excellent-rich, well balanced, medium roast. Comparing this fine coffee to the Lavazza Crema, I think the Crema is a little better: has a richer taste with hints of caramel, so while I give 5 stars to the Espresso, I like the Crema a tad better. Nevertheless, the Espresso is a much better deal, so I will continue to buy it. ... show more

My favorite coffee for a good espresso
Flavor Name: Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 2)
I love Lavazza coffee. It’s not cheap, but most good things in life don’t come cheap. It’s the only coffee I drink at home. have a decent espresso machine (Breville Barista Express) which, paired with Lavazza is, to me, the closest to having a true Italian espresso outside of Italy. Totally recommend this coffee and the machine. ... show more

Expensive but worth the money
Flavor Name: Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 2)
I buy this coffee in the bean form for my home coffee maker. Just two people drinking coffee most of the time so it doesn't break the bank. It is so good, can't find another brand I like as well. It is reliably good. It might take you a few tries to get your bean to pot ratio just right. The flavor changes if you make it stronger or weaker, but it is always smooth and never bitter. Sometimes I change it up a bit (especially in the winter) with just a tiny tiny touch of cinnamon in the beans before they are ground. If you do too much, it isn't good. It's just like the essence of cinnamon but not the intense flavor. You won't be disappointed. ... show more

Great coffee.
Flavor Name: Caffe Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
This bag of coffee comes sealed and fresh. The smell of the beans is really nice and so is the flavor. You can't go wrong with this coffee.

My favorite
Flavor Name: Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 2)
First bought Lavazza at Costco but it’s not one of their regulars. If you’re a fan of dark strong roasted espresso, this isn’t for you. I like a smoother, richer roast and this is perfect for my Saeco Incanto espresso maker.

Mellow morning muse
Flavor Name: Caffe Espresso Size: 2.2 Pound (Pack of 1)
I stumbled upon these espresso beans while on a quest for a caffeine fix strong enough to power a small village, but gentle enough not to turn my jittery hands into an impromptu maraca performance. Let me tell you, these beans strike the perfect balance between "wake-up call" and "let's not induce heart palpitations." It's like they have a secret society meeting in my cup, where the words "bold" and "smooth" hold hands and do the cha-cha. They're so mild that even my pet goldfish tried to request a tiny espresso shot. I had to politely decline, explaining that caffeine and aquatic life don't mix – but I admire the fish's ambition. The aroma wafting from my cup is like a warm hug from a friendly barista who knows my order by heart, and the taste? Well, it's like my taste buds are having a symphony, with every note perfectly in tune. Now, while these beans may not turn me into a rocket scientist overnight (bummer, right?), they do provide a comforting nudge to tackle the day, with just enough perkiness to make my to-do list look less intimidating. So, here's to you – my delightful partners in caffeinated crime, my mellow morning muse. ... show more
