I ordered this after a friend had gifted me 3x of the Espresso Lavazza bags. I never thought I would finish drinking all of it, but when I was done with the gifted bags I decided to venture off into the world of Lavazza. This order did not disappoint what-so-ever. It is as rich as and in many ways tastier than the previous version I tried and I love it. I would like to try the other packages that Lavazza has just so I can compare before I land on this as my favorite. These bean are as delicious as described from the manufacturer. I love the creama the beans produce in the espresso machine. The blend is arabica/robusta, quality, performance and value of the size is all there. Amazing aroma and flavor.

Absolutely love this coffee. It's wonderful for espresso or cappuccino and works very well in a coffee maker with a built-in grinder - namely because these beans are considerably less oily than many others I've tried. I've committed to this particular brand and roast because of this lack of oiliness which has reduced the number of issues the built-in grinders seem to experience whenever there is leftover oiliness/residue. Flavor-wise, this is on par with other brands with which I am fond - Starbucks (Pike Place roast) being one of the strongest contenders. Definitely recommend this one to anyone who grinds and brews at home. ... show more

This coffee has a smooth earthy flavor and I enjoyed it as a pour over. You get alot of beans for a reasonable price as well. When I tried using it for espresso I was underwhelmed, because it's just not fresh enough and probably sat in a warehouse for too long.

I've tried several lavazza beans for espresso and I really like this one. I bit more robust in flavor compared to some that are labelled 5/10 in intensity. A bit liter in crema compared to the super crema but very nice.
