Audio quality was pretty good (not amazing, but definitely way worth the price). I ended up returning these, however, because it turned out I needed to be able to edit the two speakers individually, and while the output was technically stereo, the streams were mixed, and then duplicated I guess? Basically there WAS a Right and Left on the audio track, but they were identical, both with the content of both mics. Definitely a solid purchase at this price point if you just need to be able to record two things (people) at the same time and get a decent product at the end, probably not worth it if you are looking for other flexibility/outstanding audio quality. ... show more

I bought this a few months back for my youth group, I tried th product until today and big surprise, doesn't work, not on my galaxy S8, or IPhone or DSLR Camera, disappointing, we run on a budget and since it's not that expensive, every penny counts for us, UPDATE April 2019: a few days after I posted my original review, Tracy a representative contacted me about my situation, she offered wa full refund or a replacement and full support, I choose the replacement, everything was free, I got my replacement a week later and this time everything was just flawless. You can notice a HUGE difference between having and not having this microphone The sound and quality of my recording was great, for the price this is a great buy and I'm very pleased with the costumer support. Sadly I didn't open the product before and the return period has expired but nit buying this brand or from this seller again! :( ... show more

    • Great Cheap / Versatile Two-Mic Option
This little mic system is a great value for what it can do. It can be used with a phone / camera / computer -- pretty much anything with a 3.5mm (or even 1/4") jack. I have tested it with my Canon M50 and my Samsung S10e, and found the audio to be an improvement over the internal microphones once you get further than a couple of feet away from the devices. I think this would be a great option for anyone looking to up their audio quality when they are filming / recording two people away from the camera or source recorder. There is a lot of wire, which can be good or bad, depending on your use case. It allows you to get comfortably up to about 15' away from your recording device. The downside is that if you are closer than that you really need to pay attention to cable management. The only real gripe I have with this system is that the second mic is not removable--if that were the case, this would be a 5-star review. Basically, if you are recording just one person, I would recommend just getting the single mic AU-100. The bonus is that would save you $10! All an all, an easy recommendation at this price point if you need a two-mic system and you are filming more than a couple of feet away from your camera. ... show more

I was completely blown away by the performance of this microphone! It is studio quality and I am so impressed I ordered another one, except it was the one that is a single microphone to replace the one I’ve already been using. The one I’ve been using is only a few months old. But this one takes the cake! I have a very large professional YouTube channel in which I interview people for my shows and I have audio OCD BIG TIME! In fact, just had a well-known Hollywood actor and producer at my house for an interview the other day, and he was so impressed he is going to order several of these microphones as well! I love it! I assure you, studio quality and have never had a microphone like this and it’s the best. I encourage anyone looking for a studio quality clip-on mic to buy tons of these! They also have a single clip on lapel mic as well if you are looking for single only. You can also use this with your phone. I have an iPhone 8. However if you have an iPhone 8 or newer you will need a lightening to headphone jack, but those are very very cheap! ... show more

    • Good Mic For The Price
This is a solid choice and a good value. Of course it's not as good as a professional-quality lav that costs four times as much, but it's a good performer that will probably be perfectly adequate for most consumer-level projects. I was impressed that they included a second (spare) battery. Many products at this price wouldn't even include one. My only complaint is that both mics are hot all the time. There's no way to turn off the second mic if you only need one, and you can't unplug it because both mics are hard-wired in. I would have known this, however, if I had read the product description a bit more carefully. If you know for sure that you'll only ever need one mic, you may want to look at other options. Otherwise, this is a good product, IMO. ... show more

This is an excellent quality microphone! We were amazed by the crispness and clarity of our voice when we used this microphone. Can definitely tell the difference between this and the microphone we were using before to record our audio. Comes with everything you will need out of the box. Technically, the AU-100 model would fit our needs better since this has two microphones for podcasts. However, this is perfect for recording a conversation between two people and comes with a long cord. A near-perfect complement to my evolving battery-powered music making and recording kit. A must have companion for the K8 K8 'B-Loud' ultra-mini wearable personal PA from Parts Express (the included headset mic for the K8 is useless, or else needs a phantom power the K8 doesn’t supply). With this setup I have a pa with aux input, dual mic input, usb audio input, SD card audio input, and built-in fm radio, all running on internal usb-5v rechargeable battery (K8) and button battery (Maono dual lapel mic with built-in phantom power). The 5th star would be if the phantom power bartery pack had standard mini-xlr input for use with other miniature mics. At $28, I’m tempted to buy a guinea pig unit and try to hack a dongle-connected input onto it. The only competitor I see is $59 Sure unit. ... show more
