I have been using Lancome products for years and the shadow had began not to stay on all day without having cracking lines and flaking off. No problem with the product from Laura Geller. I would have liked for there to have been a few lighter colors in the mix but other than that I think the shadows or great and a great price.

Color: 01 Hidden Gems Baked
I was very excited to receive this palette as I have the starter set and really enjoy the neutral shades included there. It's very hard to get a sense of the colours in this palette until you see it with your eyes and not a screen. There aren't as many neutrals as I thought there would be, and a lot of 'what were they thinking?!' shades, like purple, blue, and green. There are a LOT of shimmers, so if that's what you like, you'll be happy. I personally find it crazy to market to the 50+ crowd and think that shimmers are attractive. I do like the darker eyeliner, which is not quite black and a nice change from the usual dark black that's usually included. I got this for less than half price so the value is still there for the shades I can and do use, but there's lots of wastage. And there are some pinks as well, so you can bring this on a trip and not have to bring more palettes with you. The shadows themselves go on nicely and last all day.

So I love the colors, but I'm 63 and sometimes if it's too shiny it just doesn't sit right but these are the perfect Shimmer but I'm going to probably get the matte color set next because they are beautiful on they stay all day. And of course being aged 63 I love to stay younger looking as much as I can so when I put my makeup on my face people don't believe that I'm 63

I guess I was lucky since I ended up with a pristine set that didn't break during transit. But, I wasn't that impressed with the pigment since the colors look 10 times more vibrant in the case than on my eyelids. It was average at best however, I haven't tried applying it "wet" yet.

I love Laura Geller ! Her pallets are magnificent. I am 54 years old. I’ve tried everything there is out there and her products are the only ones that stay on my face all day beautifully !!! Sweat water rain doesn’t matter. It’s on your face the way you put it before you take it off at night. Love you, Laura Geller. Thank you for your amazing products!

Quality is very good colors are great. Only have to use a minimal amount! The only thing I did not like is it is expensive for coming in a cardboard container. Not sure why Laura Geller has to use cardboard for a pallet. Other than that it’s great will but again.
