This does not replace a real triangle, however if you are a percussionist who multi-tasks, for example, playing congas or shaker. It is difficult to play single notes. Easy to do, yet it can be tricky to do well. Great product

    • LP One Handed Triangle Review: Received broken unit
I believe I received a defective or broken unit, since the one I got does not ring-out- the bell just clunks around inside the casing. When I first opened the bag it came in, there was a string that was hanging out of the unit, which I originally thought was part of the packaging - (But quite likely a part of the suspension mechanism. which does bring into question how sturdy the device is...) Anyway, I plan to send mine back for a replacement and will update this review when I get my new one... But for now I am giving the unit 3 stars based on the overall design and belief that I WILL get a working unit! See video at [...]. ... show more

My LP one handed triangle "klunks" in one direction. The triangle sound doesn't ring true so I think mine is defective. Neat idea, just doesn't seem to work...I took it apart and see that a piece of tubing is missing on the wire that supports the metal bar. Too late to return it so maybe I can fix it... ... show more
