I’ve owned mine for a little over a year now (premium refurbished,) and this laptop has been an absolutely charm. I’m usually wary of branded products and their hype to quality ratio- especially when it’s a brand as big as apple. However, in this instance, the hefty $1599 price STILL has mean feeling like I got a deal. Not a bot, just a happy customer :) Battery Health as of today - 90% (my fault. repeated cold exposure) Sound system still operating great and honestly the most impressive part of this laptop are the speakers. There were popping/clicking sounds coming from the speakers early when first bought, but this was a software issue I resolved via updates (tldr no hardware issues to date) ... show more

My unit came in Apple packaging, sealed, with the box saying "Official Apple Refurbished" on the package. It was as if this machine was brand new. I couldn't get Apple care to work but the website said to reach out to customer service. So I clicked to do so and within 30 seconds my phone rang and an Apple specialist was there. She said they couldn't do AppleCare+ because "technically" the device is registered as having gone to a reseller. She confirmed the device was sent to the reseller directly from Apple, they no longer sell M1s on the site, and that my unit's official DOB was in June. The original warranty is still in effect and if I want AppleCare all I need to do is take it to an Apple store where they can inspect it then sell the warranty. Highly recommend going with this supplier. BTW the M1 version is no slower than the M2 version when it comes to being used as a daily driver. The single core performance is still amazing and it's as fast as the newest and most expensive chips for anything not utilizing all the cores. The M1 14" version also has the better speakers, it's not known why but the M2 version sounds noticeably worse. I'm not a content creator of any kind but I travel a lot and my macbook is how I watch all my content. The XDR screen and the speakers are miles ahead of my m1 13" MBP and that screen was already pretty amazing. ... show more

So far the machine is in excellent condition as advertised. The battery appears to be brand new (only 2 charge cycles on it). I haven’t had it long enough to determine if there are any hidden issues, but that seems very unlikely given the condition.

I am usually a bit sceptical buying used or refurbished computer items from Amazon. Not saying Amazon sells inferior or sketchy items, it's just that sometimes its a hit or a miss and I really didn't want to take that chance. After all its not a cheap item. Anyway, I recommended the seller "6ave" to a friend who bought a 16 M1 MacBook Pro and he Hit and Hit big time. It was certified refurbished from Apple and that peeked my interest. I saw this listing and saw the same seller and I also scored big time by receiving a fully wrapped Certified refurbished MacBook Pro 14''. It didn't turn on automatically upon opening the screen, but it just had a dead battery and upon charging, only had 4 cycle counts. Would definitely recommend looking for the same seller. I would recommend every potential buyer to get it from this listing and hope that the seller keeps providing the same level of product. This is an Apple Certified Refurbished 14inch M1 Pro Macbook Pro which is eligible for Apple Care+, in my case it only had like 8 charge cycles. Battery was completely drained and turned on once the charger was connected. Have been using it and even though this model was released in 2021, it is perfect for anyone in 2023. Thought ID upload some photos, as the listing didn’t have any, didn’t take any while unboxing it, but the unboxing experience was exactly what you get from Apple. Lastly, the 96W charger and Magsafe Cable are genuine as they should be with an Apple Certified Refurb unit. ... show more
