Two stars because it does technically work when the battery is charged. This is my third MacBook Pro. I take really good care of my computers and expect them to last. I did research and thought this would be a solid little laptop to use until I decided what I really want. Anytime I want to use it, whether I completely shut it down or not, I need to wait like an hour for it to charge so it’s usable. The battery dies after every single use. This is the 3rd Macbook I have purchased on Amazon. This is the 3rd Macbook I have returned to Amazon. Amazon has the best renewed warranty, because it takes this long to actually determine if there are issues, so I play the odds, eventually I will get lucky and get one that will be "the one" for me. Issues, but the cause is not known. Could be damage unseen, could be the OSX, and the hardware checked out at Apple Store. Ports, data transfers, iPhone connectivity issues. These things were not obvious, though I do believe the sellers need to better test their products, especially with docks and external devices. This Seller was the best of the 3 returns, I would buy from them again if they had what I was looking for. ... show more
