This is MUCH better than what was actually installed from the factory on our camper! Fits great has a satisfying "snap" when it falls into place and is quite pliable and not a hard plastic. Also much thicker than factory trim molding. Time will tell if it will stay in place but so far so good. I highly recommend this...and...I received enough to do my camper TWICE if needed. Very easy to install, jut take your time and keep it taught!

Had to replace the vinyl trim on a two-year old camping trailer. The Florida sunshine had dried it out and it was splitting and disintegrating. I selected this product on Amazon because it had UV protection. It is much higher quality than the original vinyl. It is rubber and very easy to work with. Flexible and plyable to get it into the channel on the trailer; took maybe an hour to get it installed on a 20 foot camper. Looks great!

This molding is a definite upgrade. The original vinyl was thin, bunching up, and cracking. This is thicker and will definitely last longer. Recommendations: Make sure the track is clean. It's easier to install if it's hot. There is an inside and outside to the molding, because of the factory crease. Start at the front (Or bottom, if it's on the front panel of the trailer) of the track by tucking some under the track. This will help it stay put (not slide) and eliminate the chance of air catching the front edge. (You can trim the outsides of the tab a little.) Seal the ends with Dicor or silicone The actual width of this molding is 1" across. That's NOT the size of the track opening.
