4 1/2 Stars Used this a few times now, on roadtrip and a 10-day trip with multiple United flights. (Also had a carry-on suitcase.) This thing is sturdy. The zips are very strong, the waterproof pouch is great, all the straps and buckles are reliable. Given the waterproof & “slashproof” material, I’m pleasantly surprised with the amount of flex for when you’re really cramming stuff in there. The fact the bag unzips all the way around for one compartment is fantastic, and there’s a good amount of cushioning for laptops. Cons: I got the one with side pockets, and they’re undersized so most reusable water bottles don’t fit. But they’re still good for cramming random things, and I managed to wedge in a waterbottle and none of the material has frayed. Also the frontmost zip pocket is pretty taut, so you can only fit slender things in there. I understand this design, as it’s meant to slide under seats and in tiny overhead bins so you don’t want anything jutting out, but honestly there shouldn’t even be a pocket at all. I’d move that to the top or as a closeable side pouch. Off the top of my head, I was able to cram in: -laptop & charger -pencil-case sized bag of chords and headphones -rainjacket -large toiletry bag (over 13”x11”) + separate TSA liquids bag -decent sized first aid kit -couple decks of cards -2 beanies -neck pillow -snacks -and some other random items All this with a carry-on bag meant I was set to go. And it still met United’s personal item restrictions! Would recommend but do some research on all the bags they offer ... show more

I wish I had taken a video of all the items I packed in this. I traveled out of state and wasn’t allowed a full size carry on because I bought the cheapest ticket. I didn’t want to check a bag so I thought I’d see if I could fit everything I needed for my 5 day trip! I was shocked that I was able to get everything to fit. I wore my sneakers and packed two pairs of shoes, socks, underwear, bras, 4 pairs of pants , 5 shirts , pajamas, toiletries and my portable charger . Along with jewelry and makeup. I did not use the shoe spot for the shoes. I packed my shirts, socks, underwear and bras in this spot. Then packed my pants, shoes and toiletries. Utilized the other various pockets for other items. If I’m bored one day I was recreate what I packed and take a video! Oh I forgot I also had a cardigan and a small travel blanket as well! This is my new favorite travel bag. I was seriously impressed! I am 5’ 7” - 135lbs and wear a size 8 shoe. So you can visualize the size of my garments and shoes. ... show more

I'm gonna be honest here, I didn't buy this for traveling or anything. I'm using it as an LDS Temple Bag and it works great! I had a hard time paying $60-$80 for a marketed temple bag that only gets used maybe once a week and that's only if you get to the temple every week. This bag was half that price with more than double the amount of space (the shoe pocket was a big selling point for me!). I have room for my temple clothes as well as any and all mundane everyday items that I need to bring with me (wallet, phone, etc). I don't really need the waterproof part, but it feels pretty legit if that's what you're after. I also haven't tried the USB since I also wasn't really looking for that to be included but it also seems pretty solid. There's only one thing I would caution, the display colors seem to be more vivid than the real life product, so keep that in mind when selecting a color.     • Great backpack but there are a few flaws.

The backpack is great for everyday use and travel but my biggest letdown was the side water bottle compartment. I can’t fit a regular sized water bottle in it so I just place my water bottles in the bigger insulated compartment along with my sandwich container. Also, the charger port is really nice but I wish the cord was longer to extend it to my large portable charger that sits in the back zipper mini compartment inside the main middle compartment. The durability of the backpack is so far so good but the more weight I add the more I can see the stitchings stretching. ... show more

I love this thing. The pockets are awesome and it’s so cool that it has a spot for shoes and a water proof pocket and I loveee that you can charge your phone in it!! It’s gonna be so useful on those early morning flights! The only issue I had was personal, it was the buckles. I hated how they looked in the front and the sides. They seemed pretty impractical to me as well so I just took some scissors and chopped them off. Wasn’t too hard and it looks way better after!!! Win win win ... show more

I wanted this backpack for my daily commute. I live very far from work and need to bring food, a change of clothing, chargers, makeup, notebooks and even boots in the winter. I love the pouch that is right along my back for my wallet, it fits my wallet perfectly in it. The rest of the backpack, although decent quality, just feels a bit bulky and not as cute as I hoped. I wish it had more pockets in the compartments as well, but over all its not a bad choice! ... show more

Good quality material and zippers. I love that it has a separate compartment for shoes. I went on a 5 day trip and used this bag with no problem to pack everything. The insulated side pocket is very small and did not fit water bottles. Other than that I love this backpack.
