We have a fish and ski boat so if there are 4 of us in it, it can be tight quarters. The best feature of this net is that it is compact with a telescoping handle. It is also much deeper and bigger than the other net we had. 5 stars for quality and function. If you're needing a big net this is great! My husband loves the telescoping pole so he can easily pick up this up and net a fish while still holding his line tight. He also loves the rubber net and that it folds in half to save space. Even though this net is large, it stores smaller than our other net did. This net can make fishing along a lot easier with the extended reach!

The media could not be loaded. Update, after only using 3x in my Koi pond this net broke at the far side of the net where the hinge is. The metal just snapped and I was not even lifting anything - I had placed it in my pond to get the fish used to it before I tried to catch them. I am so disappointed as this was perfect net, I have to drop my 5 starts to 1 star and I am sad about that. I am trying to think how I can salvage it but the metal is very sharp where it broke so I don't dare use it with my pond fish. Bummer. I am pleased with this fishing net. First, the net is rubber and I use it in my Koi pond so that is important to me because it is easier on the fish and their slime coat. The handle is adjustable, which is also important because my pond is 5 feet deep, so I needed a long handle. The handle has a marker or ruler right on the handle so you could measure your fish. The net part itself folds up for storage so it doesn’t take up as much room, and of course the handle collapses so far this has been sturdy and easily used by me, and I am happy with it.

This foldable net is compact and easy to travel with. We do a lot of fishing in an area 300 miles from our home, so we cart all of our gear back and forth multiple times a year. My other nets aren't huge, but they are unwieldy because they're so long. This foldable net makes it easier to load the truck and it works great too. Its easy to unfold when ready to fish and we've landed a few Northern Pike and the net worked great to help land them. The net hasn't bent at all so far. The size is perfect for the kind of fishing we do the most.

I needed a new net to keep on my boat for fishing or general usage, like snagging my passengers' hats that sometimes fly off and land in the water... This net is perfect! It arrived in a large plastic bag, inside a standard, Amazon brown box. Once you take it out of the bag, it's super easy to deploy -- you just unfold it and slide the handle down until the little silver pin clicks / locks it in place. The net material is really nice and coated so it seems less likely to get tangled or torn on sharp objects. It's nice and lightweight, but I'm not sure if it floats (I'll have to test that next time I take the boat out...). The other nice thing about it is the pole is telescopic so you can have a short or long handle, depending on how far you're trying to reach. Overall, awesome net, that I'll get a lot of use out of on my boat!

I bought a net at one of the big retail sporting goods stores for almost twice the price of this one, but it had smaller mesh holes and my treble hooks on my lures would get tangled and twisted in it even though it had rubber coated mesh. I thought I would try this net and love it! The mesh holes are mesh holes are much larger and my lures are simple to get out after landing fish. I used it last night and it is simple to use and plenty strong to land much bigger fish than I landed. I really like how it collapses in half and down for storage. It will fit in most any compartment on my boat when not in use. It is light weight and once broken down is very portable. The price is much better than other nets in it's category.
