When I did my search for a backpack, I used the word "tactical", because that's why my previous backpack was called when I bought it. I guess I maybe should have used the word "basic", because this backpack is WAY more than I expected, or needed really. I just wanted something I could use to tote stuff home from the supermarket, because my previous backpack was wearing out, and the straps are separating from the storage part. This backpack is unbelievable for the price! It is LARGE, and expandable to be even LARGER! Without even using it yet I am going to give it 5 stars all the way around, because I can just tell this thing is going to be more than adequate for what I need, and as far as for hiking or camping, I am going to make a rough guess and say this backpack would be more than up to the challenge. For the price, this backpack is an absolute STEAL of a deal. If you are looking for a basic backpack, you might want to look elsewhere; but, if you are looking for something for hiking, or camping than look no further.

Have you forgotten why you love Amazon? Well here was my reminder. This is one of those purchases that will keep me coming back for more! This is a wonderful well made backpack, "at any price" just so happens it was one of the least expensive for its size and class. I am so very impressed I will be buying another and storing it for the day well into the future when this bag will need replacing. I needed something for my E-Bike cross Country trip, yes that is correct, Tucson to St Augustine. This is my bag! It is huge 3 full changes of clothes, sundries, extra shoes, rain gear, cable locks, bike cover, charger, the list continues. I am at odds to find anything wrong with this backpack, outstanding design! If I would do just one small thing different O would make the cup or bottle holder a little bigger -or- not have one at all. But that is such a small detail, I will put a back up bottle of water in the spot, it will probably save me one hot day. Need a bag and on a budget? This is your backpack. This is our second time purchasing this, only had to replace the previous one because our dog was highly offended by the audacity of this backpack. Kids today have WAY too much stuff to carry and our schools do not allow students to use lockers. (why? you've got me!) We had tried a few other "normal" backpacks from local retailers but they were bursting at the seams and never had enough room, we also had a few where straps detached. My teen found this one and fell in love the minute it arrived. This backpack has a ton of room and enough compartments to keep things separate-(like his gym clothes separate from his lunch). He has yet to run out of room!
