This is a really solid chair, one which I am hoping will last as long as I do, as opposed to cheaper chairs which tend to fall apart after a couple of years. It's a beautiful chair, very comfortable, and it not only power reclines, but it also powers to lift me out of it, should that become necessary at some point. Except that it doesn't recline all the way to a 180-degree position, it's very similar to a more expensive chair made by the same manufacturer yet costs about 200 dollars less. It's real leather, well-built, operates very smoothly, and is just a great power reclining chair. I'm 6'3", 225 pounds, and it fits me almost perfectly. My ankles protrude from the end by about 4 inches, but I protrude from almost every chair by more than that, so it's not a problem. If you're looking for a power reclining chair, buy this one. Once it was assembled, the chair is lovely and functional. However, the directions were not easy to follow and or clear. If my brother didn’t have factory assembly experience, we never would’ve realized that the cord to plug the chair into the outlet was sewn underneath the batting on the bottom of the chair. Because he knew where the cord most likely was, he cut s slit into the batting, looked inside and found the cord and threaded it out the proper channel of the chair. I ordered this for elderly parent. The chair is easy to assemble and is of good quality. My Father found it easy to operate and really enjoys the massage feature. He looks forward to using the heating feature in the winter. Before having this chair, he struggled getting up to use his walker. Now it is much easier for him to stand up and become mobile. The only complaints are you need to find someplace to hide all the wires, and it came with no directions or contact info. We searched everywhere before trying to assemble but found it pretty easy without. The chair is perfect for me and I am 6’ 2” and 255. It is a little slow in transition from reclining to getting up and out, but I’m not in too much of hurry, so no big issue. It is comfortable and while a little short in the feet(hang over about 4”) reclined , not a big deal . Wires and lack of instructions and contact info cost it a star ... show more

I am 5 feet 9 inches tall I weigh 260 lbs. This chair barely fits me. My Bottom is tight in the seat from side to side. My head and shoulders are right above the back and my feet hang over the foot rest from above my ankles. I look like I am sitting in a childs seat. I can' t move around to reach the side pockets or the button to work the chair because of how tight I fit in it. If you recline it goes so slow you get tire just waiting. You cannot sit up and have your foot rest up because the chair doesn't do that. so it's sit up with feet down or recline with feet up. And I haven't even started with the flimsey construction yet. not happy at all with this purchase. I have double need surgery in 10 days so I stuck with this chair. I will be getting ridd of it as soon as possible. ... show more

This product is a very good chair; however, DO NOT purchase it if you are over 6 ft. tall or have broad hips. It is advertised as “LARGE” but it is definitely not. It turns out to be only 2/3 the size of the chairs I currently have. I would recommend it for anyone smaller than what I stated above. Assembly is very easy. Took all of 8 minutes once I had things unpacked, and I’m 83. Slide 3 parts onto Seat, put 4 wing nuts on 4 bolts, and plug in 6 connectors. Done. ... show more
