I am a 50yr old female. My dad purchased this (he is 80) I put this together by myself in about 4 hours. I did have help moving it to the platform but no other issues with getting it together. However, the latch doesn't line up based on the directions I discovered, that bar needs to be on the lower screw holes to line up. The directions I received, said to put it on the upper screw holes. This is sturdy, and well made. The cover is nice, no rips with installing. I did however use zip ties to secure the roof instead of the straps sent. I did not use the bowls, but the food door works well. If placing on a platform you will need to secure the platform so it does not move. Would definitely purchase again arrived sooner than promised. Total garbage! Weak and poorly put together, Clearly not for large dogs because soon as they push or paw on it the thing bends. Screws won’t stay tight. Took my dog a few hours to break out and wreck it.

    • This kennel is very flimsy!
This kennel is flimsy and poorly made. If you tighten the bolts firmly it bends the metal rods, and once it's all put together it's not sturdy at all! When mydog jumps up on it the jointed roof that slide together come apart, and the whole thing bends & pushes outward in the middle of each side. It looks nice, and if you have a smaller dog that won't jump on it or anything, maybe it would be okay. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this to anyone. ... show more
