I read review after review looking for the right mat for my workout room. I needed something that would hold up to planks, mountain climbers, jogging in place, jump rope. Just about everything. I have been using this mat daily for about 6 weeks. Unlike previous mats and pads this one is not peeling and it holding its self together. When I do yoga I do lay down a yoga mat on top of this mat for extra padding. If I have a ton of planks I will fold my yoga mat under my hands for the extra support. I ordered this mat and after only a few workouts, it started peeling. I notified the seller (anngrowy) and they immediately sent me a new mat. The new mat has had no issues at all. I guess I just got a lemon at first. I would highly recommend both the mat and the seller. Team. This comes with a free jump rope. It might be advertised that it comes with it but I can't really read well. So, I was pleasantly surprised. I am the happiest of clams. I rolled this sucker out (I bought two) and it is in my garage and my weight rack is on top of it. I will never move this until the house is sold and in that case I'll probably just leave it in the garage but that's in like 20 years. I also didn't wipe it or clean it or anything because it's in my garage. I also have like no sense of smell (not covid related) but I don't think it has any lingering scent. ... show more

This has been perfect for me to roll up and put in a closet, and then pull out and do HITT workouts on, I can get down into a full plank and have extra room (I’m 5’8’’). Oh, and it didn’t smell when I got it out for the first time either :) Love this and so worth the purchase.

I needed a larger mat to workout, which includes stretches, HIIT, and using dumbells. This matt not only protects my floor when I drop dumbells (Under 25lbs) but I can also lay on it and even rest my face on it. If you want something to protect the floor for heavier weight, maybe try a horse stable mat or something thicker. However, for home use and some light dumbells, this will protect the floor and be comfortable at the same time. This matt is also very easy to roll up and store out of the way if you do not want it on the floor. There was maybe a hint of rubber scent when it was brand new, which is normal, but I don't smell much rubber. This is good for yoga as well ... show more

I ordered this for my small space in my garage that i workout in. My yoga mat was good for sit ups and Pilates stuff but when the workout video had me doing other things i wanted more mat. Especially cuz i felt my floor was slippery even with shoes on. I was going to get the interlocking floors but went with this instead. I like it. It’s a little hard on my spine when doing sit-ups but great on my knees and everything else. It’s a good size for me not sure not sure if my husband would benefit from it as well ... show more
