This runner is perfect for what I need it for: to look nice and not slip around. It’s washable as well, so no worries in that area either. It’s a medium light weight, which is fine. The pattern itself looks very nice and elegant. I have it in front of my kitchen sink and counter, and it’s comfy to stand on. It’s not a super thick kitchen mat, doesn’t claim to be, and not what I wanted anyway. I bought the blue version and I'm happy with my choice. My kitchen is blue with green accents, and the rug colors correspond beautifully. I also didn’t have any big issues with creases.     • Beautifully made and finished William Morris inspired runner!

I ordered the Beige runner and it's a beautiful print with clear images. The colors are soft, but not faded, which is exactly what I've been searching for, and the price was unbeatable. The runner is very soft underfoot. I have placed it next to my bed and it really pulls the room together. I do find it a bit slippery since it's so silky soft, and it does slide a bit on my carpet, but I tested on tile and it didn't budge. I will be ordering another to match and place on the other side of the bed. This pattern is a classic that lends itself to both a craftsman or contemporary style, very reminiscent of William Morris. As others have stated, it does arrive folded, but these creases disappeared within 24 hours and the rug lies perfectly flat, no curling along the edges. The directions recommend that you clean with "brush", and not a vacuum. I did attempt to run my vacuum over it with the hardfloor setting, and it didn't like it. I'm going to recommend that you don't vacuum this rug, but rather sweep it according to the directions. The pile is so incredibly short and smooth that I don't think it would even be necessary. You can shake it out and if it needs deeper cleaning, then throw it in the wash. I haven't had to do this yet, as it's only been a couple of days. I expect this to last for awhile and I find it's a good value for what I need it for. ... show more

This rug is GORGEOUS and I have gotten so many complements -- really was the thing that brought my room together! I actually didn't need to throw it in the dryer or anything to get it to flatten (saw that on some reviews). I took it out of the bag as soon as it arrived and put it on the floor. It was perfectly flat after us and the pets walking on it for 2 days. It's incredibly soft (like walking on moss), so even though it's thin, it's comfy. We like that it's not thick so it's not a tripping hazard. It really does grip to the floor nicely! We have a massive Rottie and he loves to jump-attack his toys on this rug because it doesn't move...ever. So grateful because I was going to lose my mind if I had to reset a living room rug one more time. We've had multiple spills or animal "spit" ;) on the rug already and it truly does stay on the "top" and therefore blot right up. My only caution: there are instructions on how to vacuum the rug in the package. LISTEN TO THEM. Because the rug is so thin, if you vacuum it with a spinning brush at the highest level of suction....your vacuum will not move across the rug. Just lessen the suction and turn off the carpet brush and it's super easy to clean! I have not needed to put it in the washer yet, so that's the only thing I can't verify. ... show more

Very pretty rug. I just received. I put in the dryer on high for 10 minutes. That took the wrinkles out. It is very soft, too soft for the kitchen in bare feet. The "soft" is velvety. You may slip on it with bare feet. Wear some kind of shoe. It is not thick at all as others have also stated. You will definitely want a rug pad if using in the kitchen as I done. That works fine. FYI, I got a rug pad with grippers on both sides. I have had a similar rug with a rubberized back but it slipped against my wood floor every so often. A felt side under the rug and against the floor it will cause slippage. So make sure to consider this point. I have not had the opportunity to wash or blot for any stains. ... show more

I ordered this area rug in a 4 x 6 size to use in my foyer at my front door. The 4 x 6 size is perfect, I could have gone with the 5 x7 but am satisfied with this size. I am very happy with the quality of this rug, I was concerned because the price value is so good. However, it is a very nice rug, very soft, composed of polyester so very washable. The rug came folded which is the most practical way for it to be shipped. There were creases in the rug which did not come out after vacuuming. I used a water spray bottle on the creases and placed the rug in the dryer. Most of the two creases are gone and, as you can see from the picture, it looks very nice. I think this rug will last me three or four years as it seems very durable. The rug is on another very thin rug as a pad as I think rugs last longer and are less prone to moving if they have a pad underneath. I recommend this rug, it is very pretty. ... show more

The colors in these rugs are even more beautiful than they show online!!!!! I love the design. Perfect for our guest room. They feel like velvet under your feet and with the backing they don't slip at all. Never thought i would want a thin rug but changed my mind once i received them!!!!

We bought this hoping the positive reviews were true and the pictures were accurate about the colors. PERFECT!!!!! Absolutely could NOT have wished for anything better in regard to the colors! The feel of it is also amazing! We did purchase a carpet pad to put under it as it is thin. I can't imagine trying to wash this 8x10 in a washer - nor will I try. The fact that it came folded is not something we particularly like as there are creases and as it's been down only a week they're still there. I have not attempted to remove them ... hoping time may help. I realize rolling a rug would require a different type of shipping, but as we just purchased one from Wayfair that way, it arrived with no creases (though Wayfair's color online was NOT accurate!) The price was good, too. We have this in our living room which does NOT get a lot of foot traffic so I'm hoping it'll last for a long, long time! I'd hate to replace this beautiful rug! I'd take a picture, but my camera is not true to color and would not benefit my review. ... show more
