These bags are not Contractor grade in my opinion. Any time I put anything with a corner or edge in, it cuts through the sides like a hot knife through room temperature butter. I feel like anything more than a rubber ball or balloons will tear right through the bag.

I have used a better bag, but they came from industrial supply warehouse. That being said, these T.Foring bags are sturdy and get the job done. Some who complain these tear need to understand they are listed in the description as high-density, meaning the plastic is stiff and can tear when stuffing them with sticks or items with sharp edges. Bags listed as low-density are more flexible and forgiving when stuffing hard objects. That is why I wasn't disappointed to get a couple of tears when I was cleaning out lots of junk closets. For the price, they are a deal, just be careful if you are stuffing odd shaped objects or sticks. If you are packing leaves, normal household trash or a bunch of heavy clothes, these will never fail you. ... show more

While an ideal size for my needs, the bags are connected and must be ripped off individually. Maybe it’s just me but I’ve found the serrations difficult to find easily. They do work well once found but I’ve practically had to measure out what is the length of the back each time, usually not finding the serrated line first try. Purchased these 2.2 mil bags for bagging leaves and small twigs, but the bags easily rip open large holes. At first I was duct taping large holes on about every other bag. Then the bottom dropped out of a bag dumping the whole load on the ground. So I started double bagging. This seems to be working but takes extra effort. Because of the double bagging needed, these 2.2 mil bags are way more expensive than the 1.5 mil bags I had been using before (no double bagging needed with the 1.5 mil bags). I appreciated that these were unscented and a nice size- but they are a flimsy material that rips very easily- not heavy duty (or even light duty). I am disappointed and a contractor would NOT use these if they cant even hold up to my picnic/everyday garbage
