The media could not be loaded. So I've got 5 cats, 3 of which are overweight. My overall goal was to hopefully get the chonks on here and lose some weight BUT if not then at the very least get my 2 healthy weight cats on it to not end up chonks. As expected, the chonks think this is a bed but the 2 younger healthy weight ones absolutely love it! I was very surprised with how quickly they caught on. I did keep it locked in place to let them sniff and stand on it without it moving. However once I unlocked it they were sprinting almost immediately, ofc with some encouragement via the toy provided. Overall I'm really happy with this and honestly may have to get a 2nd one bc the younger 2 don't particularly like to share 😂. It definitely is worth the money, and is very entertaining for me and my younger cats. Definitely some learning curve but I'm sure come a couple days they'll find better balance I will the directions are a bit odd, it was relatively easy and they did provide a video but I didn't need to watch it. I say they were odd bc it didn't specify how many of each part was provided and there's 3 connecting boards (as the circle is comprised of 3 sections) that weren't specified in the directions. All the pieces were included but the bolts and screws were very vaguely specified. Regardless it took about an hour and half, I definitely recommend using a power drill bc my hand was raw from manually screwing it together. The quality is good, the size is perfect as we have a Maine coon so I needed one big enough for him. It was a bit dusty but wiped off (I did get lazy and didn't wipe it all bc the cats kept bugging to get to it), they did also include some gloves which was nice. I used them for a bit but not entirely necessary.

The second I understood a fraction of what would be required once I adopted 2 year-old Bengals, I purchased this wheel -- skeptical but hoping for the best. in a word these gym rat Bengals use this bad boy. One will put in at least 400 meters with a little encouragement. The other will use it on her own, but hops off when coached. She can't with that. You're not the boss of her. I found it to be pain to put together. But a smart friend assembled it with little frustration in about an hour. It's attractive (oddly enough) and seems well made/well-thought out. It's a real winner. Yes, it's kind of noisy on a hard wood floor, but once I get a rug beneath it, I bet that'll be solved. My only quibble is that it is too big for where it was assembled. Do yourself a favor and try to anticipate where your athletes are most likely to want to burn off energy. I didn't give this enough thought and now have to move it. It's not heavy. I should be able to do that. But it's two pieces. The base will be easy to relocate. But I can see the possibility of an awkward moment when I try to roll it upstairs. Bottomline: cute, useful, well-made, appealing to Bengals

Pretty neat catwheel that is pretty straightforward to put together. Pleasantly surprised at how big it was. Purchased it assuming our five cats would find it fun. Naturally only one of them expressed any real interest on actually walking on the thing despite my attempts to motivate them, but what can you expect when buying toys for cats. They do however sit on and play around the wheel. It's become somewhat of a social hotspot for them, with my one orange cat occasionally going full insanity and running what I can only assume to be a few miles. Pretty satisfied overall. Only reason for removing 1 star is the Velcro the track mat is attached to is a little weak. It's pretty common while running/scratching that it falls off the wheel and scares the lights out of whatever cats are in there. I ended up adding some staples to secure it a bit more.

The media could not be loaded. I have a 1 1/2 year old female cat who is restricted to a small area of the house. She weighs about 8 pounds and is very long. She has a LOT of energy and was starting to gain a bit of weight so I got this for her. She absolutely loves it. She goes on it every single night, and multiple times a day. She goes at her own speed and it’s the best thing I have ever bought her. Worth every penny. Be warned though, it comes completely un assembled and is so much work to put together. The pieces are cut and edges not finished or filed. I got multiple splinters putting it together and whenever I grab it. Once together tho it’s quite easy to move around. It’s a bit loud, It sounds like an old heater kicking on. But it’s sturdy. My cat will go on full speed runs and I’m not afraid it will come apart. The base is close enough to the wheel that her paws never get stuck. It took my cat 2 days to get use to. Best purchase ever.

Was a bit of a chore to assemble. The carpet is longer than the Velcro pads. There were not enough machine screws, for the spacers, so I had to go to Lowe's to buy more( needed 24 more). I will need to adjust the rolling wheels, as one side is way to close to the base. My Charlie hasn't used it, except to lay down in it, so I'll have to give it some time for an update on the usefulness. Guess I'm gonna keep it at three stars for now. As you can see, the carpeting is coming off and it's bit longer than the wheel. My Charlie has NOT used it, except to lay down in it, from time to time. One side of the roller wheels, rubs, so I'll have to try to adjust those. Really had my hopes up for this. Most likely, I'll search for another one and discard this one, unfortunately.

The media could not be loaded. This wheel has been extremely well loved now for months! Very easy to put together, but tedious which is not necessarily a negative in my opinion just a fact. I would definitely recommend using the sanding block they provide to sand the raw cut wood edges so your fur babies don't get splinters. Also, the screws do tend to come loose over time being used, so every so often go and tighten all the screws just to make sure it stays sturdy. Ive lost about 5 of them.
