Very sturdy and well made. Excellent for energetic cats and kittens. Assembly is much easier with a power drill, otherwise hard on the hands but it goes together well. It's a bit noisy while they're running but not terrible. Definitely big enough for a Maine Coone or other big cat.

I have two 10 month old kittens and only one of them has tried this so far but he played on it for like 5 minutes straight after he got the hang of it and then went back to it two or three more times while I was doing the laundry! He loves it so much and I feel like he’s getting so much more stimulation and exercise with this! It comes with a feather wand with a bell that both of the kitties go crazy over, and I just used that to train him how to walk on it and as soon as he started walking I could totally see the lightbulb go off in his head like “Whoa I’m running on this thing! This is really cool!” 😂 I love how proud he looks walking with his little tail up lol I actually had cuter videos I wanted to use as a review, but I noticed that in this one you can see his foot slip off the side where it would USUALLY get caught and could potentially injure him or ruin his experience, but you can clearly see that there’s NO GAP for his little tiny foot to fall into and it was only like a momentary pause to regain his balance and he took off running again after I ended the video! I’m so glad I went with this model! It was slightly more expensive than others for the safety feature but it was WORTH EVERY EXTRA PENNY!!! It already prevented an incident and made sure my cat would get more long term use out of it because they prevented a traumatizing experience for him ❤️ You can tell this was created by cat people who really care! The instructions also came with gloves and it said that the pieces may be sharp, but I didn’t notice any sharp pieces and neglected the gloves entirely! No cuts or even splinters! My 4 year old daughter did get a little “paper cut” trying to stop it while it was spinning (after we told her that would probably happen because it’s wood and obviously there may still be sharp bits even if I didn’t notice them), but it was a learning experience with very minor consequences and no tears, and other than a situation like that I feel like it poses very minimal threat of actually hurting anybody! But clearly this company takes safety seriously for the cats AND for us and I really appreciate that! 😊 If you wanted to, you could easily take the sand paper they ALSO included with the instructions to file it down a bit while it’s spinning. I haven’t bothered personally. Maybe I will in the future, but for now I don’t see a reason to (my daughter has decided not to play with it anymore, which is fine with us lol Natural consequences and all that. Better that she doesn’t hurt herself trying to run in it or something because she was very curious about it before the paper cut, so we’re actually kind of glad that it happened so it wasn’t a worse injury down the road!) As for the sound, it’s not silent but it’s also not really bothersome. Especially with the door cracked. I kinda like being able to hear when they play on it lol I’ve already recommended this to other friends with cats! This is the best cat toy I’ve ever purchased and I’ll never go without one as long as I have cats for the rest of my life!!! This is going to be SO GOOD FOR THEM 😍 This completely changes the indoor cat experience in my opinion!

The media could not be loaded. This is a Great wheel! We have a fastcat wheel- that was way more expensive - and has come off the track way too many times. My cats love this wheel. It is solid! Was it a pain to put together ? Yes! Instructions horrendous and incorrect ( that's why it's a 4 star rating not 5) but it is a solid wheel once put together and my cats have put this to the test. My 17 pound boy acts like he is training for a marathon. I would definitely recommend.

The media could not be loaded. So I've got 5 cats, 3 of which are overweight. My overall goal was to hopefully get the chonks on here and lose some weight BUT if not then at the very least get my 2 healthy weight cats on it to not end up chonks. As expected, the chonks think this is a bed but the 2 younger healthy weight ones absolutely love it! I was very surprised with how quickly they caught on. I did keep it locked in place to let them sniff and stand on it without it moving. However once I unlocked it they were sprinting almost immediately, ofc with some encouragement via the toy provided. Overall I'm really happy with this and honestly may have to get a 2nd one bc the younger 2 don't particularly like to share 😂. It definitely is worth the money, and is very entertaining for me and my younger cats. Definitely some learning curve but I'm sure come a couple days they'll find better balance I will the directions are a bit odd, it was relatively easy and they did provide a video but I didn't need to watch it. I say they were odd bc it didn't specify how many of each part was provided and there's 3 connecting boards (as the circle is comprised of 3 sections) that weren't specified in the directions. All the pieces were included but the bolts and screws were very vaguely specified. Regardless it took about an hour and half, I definitely recommend using a power drill bc my hand was raw from manually screwing it together. The quality is good, the size is perfect as we have a Maine coon so I needed one big enough for him. It was a bit dusty but wiped off (I did get lazy and didn't wipe it all bc the cats kept bugging to get to it), they did also include some gloves which was nice. I used them for a bit but not entirely necessary.

The media could not be loaded. I like that this wheel is made of wood. Some of the other cat wheels I looked at were plastic (trying to buy less plastic stuff). And this one is BIG! I purposely looked for the biggest one I could find, as it will put less stress on the cats’ spines. I have 4 cats. Two are 9 year old females, and overweight. They haven’t taken to the wheel yet. My other 2 cats are 3 years old, 1 male and 1 female. Only the boy has shown interest, but it’s early days yet. He is on it multiple times every day, and I’ve heard him on it at night as well. I wouldn’t say this wheel is exactly quiet, but not terribly loud either. It’s kind of a dull, rumbling type of noise. I think that might get better if I put a thicker rug underneath it. I found the directions and video to be quite helpful. Definitely use a power drill though, not the screwdriver they supply. I am a 64 year old woman, so if I can put it together without difficulty, I think most anyone could!
