The trash bags were big and seemed sturdy enough. It was great for holding all my garbage together and did not seem to have leaked anywhere. I'm always getting lawn bags because we have 4 large oaks I can easily go thru 80 bags in one clean up. The leaves are pointy and kind of a thicker leaf texture. The leaves and twigs fill the bags nicely and I was able to get a large amount into the bags. The bags do stretch some so you don't have to worry about one stick ripping the bag.
