This rug is very soft and decent quality. It comes folded and vacuumed sealed,but it doesn't take long for the fold crease to go away once laid out. It's perfect for my office, looks great, and machine washable which is a plus. All my animals seem to really enjoy it as well. You can use a vacuum on it, but it depends on what vacuum you have. Most are too strong and will try to suck the rug up, so you have to be careful. I'm able to use my wireless Dyson stick vacuum as long as it's on the lowest setting. But using any hose piece or some kind of attachment is definitely the better way to go for sure. The black does show dirt (but I knew it would be for ordering) and the fact that I have a light tan dog that sheds really doesn't help lol This also comes with corner rug grippers which is nice. The rug is very soft but it's thin, so they really help with keeping the rug from sliding around on wood and tile floors. It would be great in a kids room for sure!

I like the feel of this carpet on my bare feet though I don't feel like it actually has memory foam in it or the foam is so thin that it doesn't really make much of a difference. So it is very soft and it looks really nice. Depending on the size I'm assuming you could probably put it into a washing machine or perhaps bring it to a laundry mat to use their larger more industrial washers to clean it but vacuuming it is nearly impossible as it constantly gets caught up in the vacuum because it's just too thin. The grip on the underside works to a certain extent, but it still does move around so you have to watch out for it rolling up in the corners moving so I would say this is a nice accent for maybe a low traffic area like a bedroom or something like that to add a little bit of softness to a room, but I would highly not recommend or suggest this for anything high traffic.
