This is a very thin rug, which I wanted, whereas it is easy for one person to maneuver. I would recommend rug tape in the high traffic areas otherwise it lays nicely. The green in this rug is antique olive green, not a plant green. If they offered a runner I would order for my entryway.

    • Great traditional pattern. Very soft but also very thin.
I got this rug to layer on top of my basement carpet because I have a high traffic area and want to protect it from too much wear. The first thing I noticed is that this is not your typical loomed yarn material. It looks and feels like a combination of velvet and fleece, which sounds weird but it feels very soft and nice to the touch. When you walk on it barefoot it feels silky smooth, definitely different from a normal rug. The pattern of the rug is very nice and the colors match the pic. I love the traditional art vibe but it is thinner than I expected. As I have it on carpet its not really an issue but on a wood floor I’d highly suggest a pad to keep it from being hard when you walk on it. I look forward to seeing how it washes since you can’t launder most rugs. ... show more
