I got this rug for my back door, the previous rug I got for the door was too 'fluffy' and the door would move the rug. This rug is perfect for the door because it is lower and the door doesn't scrape over the top of it as it opens. The rug itself is very soft on the feet, which was surprising because just by looking at it, it doesn't look like it would have a soft texture. We use our back door several times daily, and my kids use it to go play outside and pet our cats. It's been at the back door for a few weeks and it still doesn't look overly dirty, which is great considering that it's a light colored rug. I washed the rug according to the instructions on the tag. It cleaned well, although not perfectly. However, the few spots that stayed on after washing, I was able to easily get out with some spot cleaner. Highly recommend!! When I got this in I was a bit nervous because it said it was super thin so I was afraid it was going to be rough and uncomfortable to walk on. BOY WAS I WRONG. This rug is everything. I am obsessed. It is extremely soft to the touch. It is thin but not too thin. It’s also washable which is a huge plus! The colors are beautiful and match my living room set perfectly. Excuse the current state of my living room as we just moved in a couple days ago and are starting fresh. This rug was super easy to wash and went through the washer and dryer without any issues. it is very thin (to be easy to wash I assume) so its not especially soft. It also got dirty very quickly, but I chalk that up to it being quite light. Thinner lightweight rug, but looks amazing and who reaches down to grab the rug anyway. It doesn’t look thin or cheap at all. It’s actually well made, but does take a week to flatten out and steam iron to help work out creases at the end.
