  • WAY smaller than shown in the pictures
Color: Black Size: M
The pictures for this product are VERY misleading, they clearly show that the stand is about the same size as a laptop, shown both in the picture of someone typing on a laptop, and the image of the lady looking at one. However, it's MUCH tinier, and if you scroll waaaaaay down the page, you'll see that it's only 9.4in x 7.48in. Well guess what, they don't make ANY macbooks that are only 9.4 inches. The smallest macbook that I could find is 11.6 inches for the SCREEN, so the actual laptop dimensions are closer to 12-13 inches. The laptop in the image is at MOST 10-11 inches by the way it fits on to the stand, so they HAD to have scaled the stand up when making the images. I'm honestly extraordinarily upset over this. The stand itself seems to work fine, it's made out of metal so it should be sturdy enough, but the part that holds the laptop up came bent, so it doesn't stick straight out. I don't know if it's supposed to be that way, but based on the preview images, it looks like it's supposed to stick out at a 90 degree angle from the stand, which mine doesn't do at all. I bought this specifically for use with my 15 inch HP Spectre x360, and it BARELY fits on the stand. I don't feel safe using it at all, because there is NOT a lot of contact area, and it feels like it'll fall over at any point, so I'll be returning it. DO NOT purchase this if you're using ANYTHING over 10-11 inches in size, maybe 12-13 if it's a lightweight tablet. And absolutely do not purchase this for anything over 12 inches as a laptop, because the build quality does not feel like it'll hold up well to all that weight, plus the added pressure of you typing on it or interacting with the laptop. And honestly, I would recommend that everyone steer clear of this anyways, because using doctored images to advertise is an extremely scummy tactic. ... show more

  • Very sturdy, small, easy to store, doesn't budge
Color: Black Size: M
I wasn't expecting much when I purchased this, though I trusted the reviews. Pleasantly surprised by how stable and sturdy this is! I have a 15 Lenovo that is actually a little big for this stand, but it's very stable even when typing at awkward angles. I haven't tried this with my monster sized HP Envy yet, but I think it would hold up okay. I got this stand because I suffer from a back injury and need to be able to elevate my laptop wheb N stuck in bed on a bad day. I could have bought an expensive adjustable table, or this cheap stand that sits on a large lap board/tray. This works perfectly for what I needed! ... show more

  • "What the hell is this?"
Color: Black Size: M
"What the hell is this?" Those were the words that came out of my mouth when I first opened this thing lol. It's small. Probably about 1/2-3/4 the width of a typical laptop (I'm using it on a 15" Macbook). That's not necessarily a bad thing, as it leave nice room on the side for venting and such. Probably my biggest gripe is how it seats the computer. There's a little fold out tab towards the bottom (that half-circle thing you see in the pictures) that keeps the laptop from sliding off. Mind doesn't fold out all the way (not sure if that's by design), so it's angled towards the laptop a bit. That means when I go to shut the lid of my computer it won't go down all the way, it just hits the metal tab and stays open about an inch. So no more putting my laptop to sleep by simply closing the lid... ...unless I take it off the stand. But remember how the circular part bends forward? That means that it's not as easy as lifting the bottom of the computer straight up with one hand and closing the lid with the other, because the computer will stick to that piece and take the whole stand with it. It makes it more secure, no doubt! So it's a trade-off between that and convenience. Every time I want to open/close my computer I have to use 2 hands, lift it off the stand, set it down on my desk, open/close it, then put it back on the stand. That sounds like a nit-picky first world problem on paper, and it's most definitely a first world problem, but it's also a lot of unnecessary extra work just to get to your computer. I feel like if that piece wasn't bent forward as much I'd just be able to close it (I'll try bending it a bit out of the way and report back). Mine also has 2 sharp pieces of metal poking out of the top edges of the round piece. They're not in the way or anything, and I won't ever brush them while typing, but they're there. This is a decent stand. It's super sturdy, sets my laptop to eye-level which is a lot more comfortable to look at (although I can feel my forearms getting a workout where my neck used to lol), but to me this isn't a $25 quality stand. Maybe $10-15 at best! Edit: Okay. I bent that piece back a bit. It fixed the issue with the lid closing, but it also almost broke the stand because the seam that holds the border piece on meets right where that tab is. As I was messing with that I also noticed that the little strip of felt that's meant to be a cushion between your computer and the metal is on there crooked. Actually, half of it is *on top* of the bar that causes the round part to fold in and out, thereby adding to the overall cheap feel of it. If you're just looking for something to get the job done and hold your computer up, this is decent (still overpriced for how it's made). But if you're looking for something that will be better put together and probably longer-lasting, I'd keep looking. ... show more

  • Great Angles
I ordered this unit because it looked like it offered a lot of angles that it could adjust to, and I'm glad I did. The highest angle, which is the one I use, is probably 70 degrees and that's perfect for getting the screen up nice and high for use at a standing desk. I should note however that I have a 2-in-1 so I'm able to get that angle from my screen (it's basically at 180) other laptops may not be able to open that wide and would be limited to a lower angle. The device itself is light which is a plus for travel, but it does feel like it can move around pretty easily. It also doesn't have any grip on the bottom - the "feet" are hard plastic. So it can slide around on a desk pretty easily. For some situations this might not matter but iin my case it's a little precarious so I have clamped the base to the desk with a big binder clip. Feels fine now. ... show more

  • Laptop
Color: Black Size: M
My new laptop stand has a little slot in the front bottom center of the stand which holds the laptop in place so it doesn't slide down and off when I put it in different angels. I bought this so my laptop can get cool air circulating through it so it doesn't get overheated. This product is not too hevy it's made from a metal material that is durable . the main reason I bought this was to protect my laptop and its serving its purpose. ... show more
