  • Great stand for different angles
Color: Grey
Love this stand. It adjusts to so many angles and positions and swivels. I have to do Zoom meetings/calls regularly and the lighting in my office changes through out the day due to where my window is located and I end up getting huge glares so it's really nice I can slightly swivel this around and not have it be a jarring move while I am on a call. It's really sturdy and I know my laptop is secure on it. ... show more

  • Sturdy, compact, and adjustable laptop stand but lacks a rotation locking mechanism
Color: Grey
+ Sturdy and stable construction, made of substantial metal + Adjustable height and angle even without using tools + Pre-tuned hinges maintain position under laptop weight + Rotatable stand for added flexibility + Open bottom design allows proper ventilation + Included tools for future hinge adjustments - Rotation dial lacks a locking mechanism and is too sensitive to pressure - Grey color option looks bland; a black option would be more versatile - Bottom brackets are unnecessarily tall and bulky, affecting the overall sleekness _____ I primarily use a desktop, but when I visit my parents, I rely on a laptop. I used to prop it up on a box to bring the screen to eye level for better posture. While that worked, it was bulky, inflexible, and not visually appealing. When I came across this stand, I thought it could be the perfect solution. My first impressions were positive. The stand is sturdy and stable. I initially worried it might be clunky or unstable, but it’s made of substantial metal (labeled as aluminum but feels as solid and heavy as steel). The manual mentions that the hinges are pre-tuned and don’t require further tightening, which I found accurate. I could easily adjust the angle and height without tools, and the stand held its position well under the weight of my 15.6-inch laptop. I assume that over time, some adjustment might be needed, but thankfully, the necessary tools are included. The ability to rotate the stand is a nice feature, but there’s a drawback. The rotation dial isn’t stiff enough, and there’s no way to lock it into a desired position. It makes a clicking sound as it rotates, which doesn’t bother me, but the real issue is that even light pressure while typing causes the stand to shift slightly. This can be frustrating. If you use a separate keyboard, this won’t be a problem, but relying on the laptop’s keyboard can be challenging in the long run. Aside from that, the stand is well-made and durable. The low-profile silicone pads help keep it steady on the table and prevent the laptop from slipping. They also allow you to place a larger laptop on its compact surface. Additionally, the open design at the bottom allows for proper ventilation, which is needed when the computer is working hard and running hot. In terms of aesthetics, the stand comes in two colors. The silver version looks great and blends well with most modern laptops. However, I’m not a fan of the grey option, as it looks bland and doesn’t complement most laptops. A black option would have been much better. Additionally, the bottom brackets that hold the laptop in place are unnecessarily tall and bulky. Most modern laptops would stay secure with half the height, and shorter brackets would have looked sleeker and more elegant (see attached visual). While I won’t deduct a full star for the aesthetic concerns, I do think the rotation issue is significant enough to warrant it. Overall, this is still a good product, even though there are similar options available at better value. ... show more

  • Works great for our needs
Color: Silver
We use a tablet in a thick case on the stand and the only downfall is the feet are not quite long enough to grip it super well. But it holds it well enough and we can put it on there for times we need it to be upright and playing something hands free. It’s made out of a thick metal so won’t bend easily. The turn table slides nicely and the adjustments can be done and the tablet will stay in one place. Other than the feet not being very wide it works perfectly ... show more

  • It works great for small laptops, not for 17in beefy laptops
Color: Grey
Okay, so first off, technically it can hold my laptop up... when the laptop is folded and not open to use, which kind of defeats the purpose. But, as you can see, I was able to get roughly 6.125lbs of sugar while it was situated to the front (it would take more, but I ran out of sugar). However, when that weight was pushed back onto the center of the plate it started sagging at roughly 5.25lbs (the scale is set to pounds and ounces, also included kg measures). When you put a laptop on it, the vervet point of weight is put on the back and without. For my particular laptop the from pieces that should stop your laptop from sliding are way to short, then really need to be longer and hinged so they fold in for traveling. As it is theft hot the curved section and scoop the laptop off as soon as it starts to be at an angle. My laptop does have a raised rubber foot on the bottom, but putting it there, three stand just slowly collapses. The biggest issue you can see lies essentially with how the laptop sits, and a good quarter of the laptop isn't behind the support, and pretty much 100% of the weight is behind the pivot point. I did a little experimenting and if the arms are to the back and you can find a way to support the laptop from the front, you can indeed support my laptop. Obviously, this method is not preferred, they could just add some support legs with notches to lock in your angle, or change the design to be rotated with the support pieces to the front and the lifting and to the back. ... show more

  • Good, solid stand
Color: Grey
Hunching over a laptop is terrible for just about every part of your body. This laptop stand is all sorts of adjustable, so you can get it to just the right position for your body and your situation. Once locked in, it stays in position very well. Even his 17" MacBook fits and stays on it well. You can reverse it for hands downwards, instead of up. This works great to get the laptop a bit higher on the coffee table, and for keeping your wrists as straight as possible. Straight wrists are one of the first items on the list of preventing carpal tunnel problems. It is moderately lightweight, and folds down easily to tuck away behind the couch when not using it. I'm not sure it's lightweight enough that I would have carried it back when I traveled to meetings all over the state all of the time, but anything lighter wouldn't be as sturdy. ... show more
