Artist's review: I bought this stand for my Samsung Tab S7 FE, to be used mainly for drawing. This was my criteria in my search, and how well the BoYata stand holds up after one month of use and evaluation: 1. STURDY: This stand is nothing if not sturdy. Right out of the box I was thrilled and shocked at the strength required to adjust it. Definitely needs two hands, and please follow the directions and lift/push from the MIDDLE of the stand, rather than the corners. Being aluminum, it is fairly lightweight on its own, but feels delightfully robust, even with a tablet, hefty tablet case, and both hands rested on top. I am able to draw comfortably without worrying about it tilting lower. I plan to use this stand with my 13" wacom tablet when I am back in my home office, and I have no doubt it will be sturdy enough to handle the extra weight. 2. ADJUSTABILITY: The range of motion here is plenty for any reasonable office needs. As an artist, I like to have my tablet raised above the desk surface to reduce hunching, while still allowing my keyboard to remain underneath in it's usual place for an easy back and forth if I need to type. For too long I would have to shuffle my tablet and keyboard around to draw, pushing my keyboard off to the side just to reach the tablet screen. This is the perfect solution. 3. COMFORT / FIT: As this is a stand designed primarily for laptops, I did not expect this category to be a 100%, but I'm pleasantly surprised. The main concern I had was the size of the support thingies. My tablet with no case is 1/4" thick. This leaves a good chunk of support arm sticking out (see 3rd picture). I personally did not find this to be an issue when drawing, though occasionally it could be distracting. But with a case, the tablet fits a whole lot better, almost completely eliminating support arm interference (see 4th picture). In landscape mode, the Tab S7+/FE is 11.21" wide, and it fits perfectly. However, the tablet height in landscape mode (7.28") does leave this particular tablet sitting just below the soft silicone grey pads at the top corners of the stand. Without a case, you definitely risk scratching your tablet and/or the stand. I could hear it scraping unpleasantly when it would shift, but never observed actual damage. The simple and obvious solution is a case. Just keep the potential scratching in mind if you plan to use a narrow tablet au natural. There are a couple extra inches at the top, but that doesn't bother me, and in fact allows me to set my sPen on top without risk of knocking it off (which I would totally do, being the klutz I am). 4. FINAL THOUGHTS: COLORS: If you want true Rose Gold, order "CHAMPAGNE". From the photos, the color option listed as "Rose Gold" looked a bit too saturated or magenta to me, so I opted for "Champagne" and I'm so glad I did. It is the perfect rose gold- any brighter/pinker and it wouldn't vibe with my other rose gold tech accessories. WOBBLE: I saw some reviews mention that the stand has a bit of a wobble to it, which is true if you intentionally jiggle it, but how often are you gonna do that c'mon. Any stand is going to wiggle a bit if you shake it deliberately. Just don't do that and you shouldn't have any issues. I have been using this sturdy and stylish stand for a month and I love just about everything about it. Would highly recommend if you are an artist using a tablet or laptop.

Half of my business is run from my home, and I work all around my house in different sit/stand positions. This stand is great no matter where I'm using it. Has a very sturdy feel, even when I'm standing and resting my hands on it... My laptop does not slip at all when I'm working on it... I was worried that since I use it in different locations and have to adjust it slightly for each one that it would become loose, but so far that has not been the case at all (it does take a little muscle to move it, but I'd rather have it be firm like it is than collapse)... I don't use an external keyboard, but there is definitely room for a one if someone wanted to use one with it... I love the high-end design look - has an elegant, "finished," modern feel (not chintzy or cheap). Bonus is the the color perfectly matches my laptop - looks very integrated together.

Love this laptop stand! It holds my 15 inch MBP very nicely. Lifts my laptop and puts it in a great position so I don’t have to awkwardly look down or up and cause neck strain. Pros: - super sturdy - long lasting - have had this going on 4 years - while it may seem a bit hard to manipulate, this helps with the sturdiness Cons (only if I absolutely had to pick one): - looks a little clunky because of the big base Overall, recommend and would definitely buy again.

I use this at my office to bring my laptop up to a more comfortable position on my desk. I absolutely love this thing. It is very sturdy. Holds my 17" laptop without any problem and easy to adjust but tight enough to hold its position. I highly recommend it if you use a laptop at your desk regularly. Has definitely made a difference for a my back and my neck. I can sit comfortably at my desk and don't have to strain my arms or neck or haunch over to reach the keyboard. I rarely fold mine up but it does fold up fairly compact if you don't keep it out full time.

After a few months of neck ache I was convinced to buy a stand. It took me 2 weeks to do all my research and I went with this one. 1. I work in different places and needed a portable stand to fit in my tote. 2. I wanted something sleek. The color matches my MacBook Air as you see in the picture 3. I needed a stand that wouldn’t take too much space on the table. It doesn’t. 4. I wanted a fully customizable stand. I work at tables with different height and I am constantly changing the angel depending on my sitting positions. 5. I wanted to use my laptop keyboard. No it wasn’t comfortable enough and was wiggly. Also I asked my doctor and she said that overtime it would hurt my wrist do I purchased an external compact keyboard. Honestly I didn’t think this stand would make it. I open and close it at least 3 times a day but it is as sturdy as day 1. I spent so much time finding the perfect stand and I hope my review would save you some time! :)

In the age of Zoom meetings, I really needed a stand that placed my Macbook camera higher so my coworkers weren't looking up my nose or double chin every morning. THS IS PERFECT, and I've had it for 3 months now. I was curious what mechanisms it used to stay were you put it (ex: bolts that you tighten, twistable screws etc.) It just has really tight/strong joints. I personally had to set it once and never wanted to move it again, so I don't know if it might weaken with multiple positionings, but once you set it one time IT STAYS. One note is that since it is on such skinny arms at such an ergonomic angle, it does give/shake slightly when I'm typing, not enough to compromise the stability, just so that my video in the meeting will quiver whenever I'm typing. I don't personally see it as too much of an issue having something at the perfect angle and height for what I need. I even store hard drives and cords underneath since I never put it down.
