I purchased this refurbished laptop a few weeks ago. I purchased it mostly for my catering business. I have a desktop computer. I can be on a computer for hours handling business and sometimes I don't want to sit on at my desk at my desktop computer. Having this laptop lets me sit in bed and handle everything for my business with ease. You can handle a lot because you can have multiple tabs open at once. It's works with Goggle only not Microsoft. Which, is fine with me because my business documents are in Google docs. I prefer Google anyway. It is lighting fast with my Wifi. I like that I can download apps directly from the Google play store. It even has a camera so I am able to do a Zoom meeting from it. The touch screen feature is great and the touch pad feature works well. You can choose to enter a pin instead of a password when you first turn on the computer or to wake it from sleep mode. It does not have a fingerprint scanner. It's a nice blue color as well. The keyboard does not light up. That's not too big of a draw back for me. The speakers on it are okay I'm not expecting much sound from a laptop speaker. The battery life is freaking amazing it has a 12 hour battery life. It even tells you the battery percentage and how much time you have left before it needs to be charged like a cell phone. I have gone days without charging it and it hardly lost any battery power. It even has blue tooth, headphone jack, and a 1 hdmi port. You can flip the screen to use it as monitor or flip it all the way back to use a tablet. It does not have caps button. The caps button was replaced with a search button. When you press the search button. You can for look for anything quickly. It can be something on Google, on you laptop, apps, anything. Just press or hold down the shift button for caps. The screen does not detach from the keyboard. Guess what I'm using to write this review?! For whatever reason you need a laptop. GET THIS ONE NOWWWWWWWWWW!!!! Bought this for my 12 year old...her Chromebook was about 5 years old and just not doing what we needed any longer. This is sturdy, can be used like a laptop with keyboard or a tablet. Great amount of storage and great camera!

The media could not be loaded. Don’t mind the screen bubbles, I put a screen protector on there. But the computer works VERY well. There hasn’t been any lagging yet. I got to choose a cute wallpaper. I can download every social media app such as Instagram, Facebook, tiktok & etc. you can flip the keyboard around so you can use it as a iPad. You can customize basically everything. 10/10. I highly recommend. It took 2 days to get to me. It’s also a perfect size too. I was afraid the 14 inch would be too small but it’s actually a perfect size. Not too small and not too big. I can definitely take this to work with me. You can also customize how big you want the screen letters to appear. Once again.. 10/10! ... show more

Awesome computer for my needs. Been using it for about a month or more. Battery is great! Only complaint I have is with the screen viewing angle. Its limited as to which angle you can see the screen. You almost have to be directly in front of it to see it perfectly bright and clear. Not directly but almost. Computer is very light for a 14 inch laptop, and its yoga style makes it easy to carry around. Its like having a king size tablet for quick demonstrations, graphs and videos. Before this I mainly used a 10 inch tablet for those business needs so having this was a huge upgrade for me. I use it as both a tablet and a laptop. I use it almost everywhere I go for my computing needs. Lighter than your typical laptop which is great. Power: I run a web based business and so far so good. It runs all the programs such as wix, dispatching software and google documents. For my needs it is fast enough. I go on roblox to spend time with daughter with word games and other games on the site and it runs fine for that but lags on some of the more advanced gaming. I'm not a gamer but I do have a business and this works just perfect for my needs. ... show more

I couldn't figure out why I wasn't able to add apps to this chromebook until I talked to an Amazon Technician who put me in touch with HP. I am so disappointed, I was told that this chromebook was obsolete!! I bought it trying to save a few dollars because I am on SSI. Amazon just said it was excellent refurbish, they did not tell me that I couldn't find a printer for it, or that I will never get updates for it. This is the last time I will buy refurbished anything. Now I have to go to UPS to return it, this is not fair Amazon. I recently had to return a large set of plastic snaps that broke as soon as I tried to unhook them. In all the years of being a Prime member , I am so disappointed! Donna Menchi ... show more

I just bought this computer and it is really great! I will be using it for game play and as a middle school education computer. Especially like the fact that it can flip 360 degrees and has a really superb touch screen. In this case refurbished only means that you save 30%! It looks and operates like new. Only downside to me is that it cannot play video games outside of games on the Google Play Store, but that is a function of being a chromebook so if you got this far that probably is something you are aware of already.
