This bag is better than I expected. I read the rave reviews but didn’t believe them. I am pretty rough on the bags I use for work as I tend to overload them and toss them about. I was very surprised by the sturdiness of the construction and the quality overall. The design is great and I have received numerous compliments. The only issue I have had in over a month of heavy use, is that I seem to have torn the lining in the seam of one of the mesh bottle holders on the inside. Typically my bags would already be well tattered by now so I will take a lining tear in a month. Very happy with this bag, and when I wear it out I’ll probably just buy again. UPDATE: I used and abused this bad every working day since February and the shoulder strap finally gave way at the end of June. (RIP) unfortunately it didn’t Break the strap, rather the loop installed on the side of the bag ripped off taking the side of the bag with it. I fully intend to purchase again. ... show more

Got this for my mother and she loved it! It's big and roomy. The sides are tall and have integrity to them, making it easier to organize the inside. The scarf was kinda weird but it goes with the bag and my mom left it on.

    • cheap materials and too small
Looks huge but cheap materials and design flaws cut the available space in half so this is not really adequate as a laptop bag, though ok for a tablet (or maybe a really skinny small laptop with no accessories). The exterior embossed floral panel on one side of the bag is exquisite - however it is paired with incredibly cheap looking pleather for the rest of the bag’s exterior; a real shame as it drops this bag from classy to dollar store. The bag is a great size, the shoulder strap and short straps both seem well-made and are long enough and thick enough to be comfortable and sturdy. The bag seems spacious at first, but materials are cheap and design narrows toward the top so you can only half-fill the bag if you want to zip it shut or avoid having the bag bulge and deform - not a good look on this type of bag. The bag interior has a nice light-colored lining so you can easily find everything in the bag’s interior, however said lining is thin and cheaply sewn. There is a mesh bottle holder inside the bag, the mesh is cheap and too easy to tear. The laptop sling is very well-cushioned on one side and not on the other - however that is a typical flaw in many laptop bags so I give a pass on that one. Zippers seem good quality. Interior pockets are somewhat small and shallow. I took a chance on this bag, but have to admit it was likely not worth what I paid for it. Kept it anyway as I love the embossed panel, but not sure that was a good decision. Originally purchased this as a gift but had to buy something else as this is not good enough for gifting or professional use. I can fit my 11” tablet, wallet, cellphone, makeup pouch and glasses case in this bag ok, but adding a water bottle and umbrella takes some finagling. ... show more
