I am thrilled with this purchase. The separate laptop sleeve makes this backpack perfect for business and personal travel. For longer trips, I can fit headphones, tech case, toiletry case, travel blanket, travel pillow, and purse. If I don't need the pillow, I can also fit a small bag with a change of clothes (but not shoes). The wide mouth makes it really easy to get things in and out of the bag. There are ample pockets (well covered in the product description) for smaller items. The charge port is towards the top, so it's easy to get to even when the bag is full, with a pocket at the bottom on that side to hold your battery box in place. The outer sleeve easily fits my 15x10" laptop and iPad air 2, with a sturdy velcro strap to hold them from being jostled, with padding on both the computer pouches inside the sleeve as well as on the outer wall of the backpack. There is ample outer storage as well, with 2 of them zipper pockets "hidden" by flaps, which maintains the sleek look of the bag. The material is water resistant, easy to wipe down without messing it up. The back is mesh (cooler on your back for carrying), with a luggage trolley strap. The backpack straps are adequately padded and easily adjustable, but there's no chest strap. My only negative comment is that there's no place to stow the straps for hand-carrying - but that's an aesthetic rather than functional issue, so no dinging on star ratings, when I can just tuck the straps into the trolley strap. The carry handles on top are formed (thicker than just cloth handles) and rounded, with a snap to hold them together, all making it easier on the hands when the bag is heavy. The bag is very pretty, with nice contrasting metal (bright gold on black), but not too much of it. It fits nicely into my simple taste for bags, while allowing me a bit of fashion. ... show more

I wasn't sure which size to get, so ended up buying both the 17" (grey/white) & the 15.3"(orange) bag. I included shots of my computer measurements so you can see the size and model of laptop I'm working with. I don't lie when I say I love this bag. I own the mini version as my everyday purse and love that it comes with 2 water bottle holders inside the bag, as well as 2 outside the bag. I use them to hold my sunglasses case and anything else I don't want getting lost at the bottom. Occasionally i even use them for a water bottle. Because of the way the opening is sewn the throat space on the bag is very large and makes everything inside the bag visible right away. Not to mention i can fit a ton in it without having to stuff it down to the bottom. I would suggest this bag for anyone whether you are a student and need to carry books, or as a travel carry on, it keeps everything organized and tidy. ... show more

Al lost in other bags This is sturdy enough that my laptop separate keyboard & work note book all in a compartment separated not squished Mid area I have a portable speaker, another notebook for current class I am taking along with back up batters charging cords , lacross ball a couple of band. And my wallet ( all visible) Another compartment I have work shorts Another compartment deodorant small items , snacks Sides hold 64 oz water bottles I don’t write reviews often.. rarely .. but this bag has been great . Ok, let me tell you - this bag is even better in person. Forget all the other bags other people might offer me, I simply wouldn't hand it over. I love it that much. I'm not a "two trips" kinda gal, so best believe EVERYTHING has to fit in my bag. This is the bag I use for work, and to carry all that that entails. THIS particular model though (the upgraded one) is worth the extra, I'm telling you, to be able to access my laptop and tablet without having to wade through everything else in my mary poppins bag, is FAB. Makes it a BREEZE going through security anywhere. All the slots are padded for my laptop, samsung tablet, it's awesome. Added to that - THE POCKETS EVERYWHERE!! This bag also has a cool addition where you can put your charging pod in your bag, and then connect your phone to it on the outside and charge your phone (look at the pics, it will make sense). The key factors for me though are the separate laptop compartment, the wired opening of the main part (that had a bunch of pockets in it too), and the pockets on the front of the bag for bits and pieces. It also has this little pocket on the bag of the bag where your back is, that zips open enough for your passport - amazeballs. The straps of the bag distribute the weight evenly as well, so you don't feel like you're carrying as much weight as you are. The particular fabric I got is the waterproof denim looking one - which looks high quality, not cheap. Honestly cannot stop singing the praises of this bag to everyone.     • Amazing Bag! Very Spacious!

I bought this specifically for my student teaching. I needed something classier than my tried and true backpack that still held a lot. This bag was cute and wipeable so I got it. Well, it’s a great bag! I currently have a 3 inch, 1.5 inch and 1 inch binders, iPad, 25+ flair pens, tooth brush, tooth paste, nuts etc. with room to spare. The only down side is I wish the shoulder straps part that is plush were plusher, wider and longer. It seems like the part that’s supposed to go on your shoulder just isn’t quite long enough or plush enough. So I took a star off for commuting/travel because it doesn’t seem like it’d be comfortable. However it’s super well made and I love the top part that opens with like a frame. Very nice. ... show more
