I really like this Lansinoh manual breast pump. I already have an automatic breast pump, but honestly this one feels much easier and more comfortable for me to use. In my opinion this is the best manual breast pump ever! I’ve used this same pump for 2 different pregnancies now and I love it. It’s effective and most importantly pain free. It’s also very easy to assemble, disassemble and wash. This pump in comparison to the Medela manual pump is a night and day difference. The Medela pump is painful and I feel like I never get as much milk when using that one. I would recommend this pump to anyone considering it. My favorite pump! I have the lansinoh signature pro plug in double pump too and it works great but this pump is so handy. No plugging in or connecting parts. I clean it and put it together and keep it in a ziplock bag so it’s ready to use at any time. I love how convenient and efficient it is. I had the Mandela manual pump but it stop suctioning after a few uses and I never got it to work again despite multiple attempts. I know I could have bought a duck bill for my Mandela but I love lanisnoh bottles and my wall pump so I decided to give their manual a try. It’s so worth it. This hand pump is good, very close to the medela but not as easy to use. The pros : The shape is ergonomic allowing your hand to grip well without getting too tired while using. - it has good suction and two modes, one for pumping and one for let down. -the bottle size is good about 5oz if I remember correctly. -Easy to take apart and clean, whether it be in the bottle washer or the sink it’s not a tedious job. Cons: - its not very easy to switch modes, a lot of times the lever gets stuck or it just completely falls off. -the flange is pretty big so you might have to get inserts. I got this as a backup to my electric pump, and it’s honestly been a lifesaver more times than I expected. It’s lightweight, easy to toss in a diaper bag, and doesn’t require charging or cords — which is great when I just need to relieve pressure or pump a small amount while out. The suction is surprisingly strong for a manual pump once you get the hang of it. The handle is comfortable, and I like that the design lets you adjust how hard you squeeze for better control. Cleaning is quick — just a few parts and nothing tricky to reassemble. It’s not something I’d rely on as my only pump if you’re doing multiple sessions a day, but for travel or quick relief, it’s perfect. I wish I could've used this & gave it 5 stars. I love this brand. This pump is how I found the ONLY bottle my son will use. I got this pump bc my son was born w/a tongue tie, I thought he just couldn't latch right bc of it. I got the pump only to find out I'm an under-producer & I need a pump w/better suction. These pumps are perfect for someone who can produce milk easily, not for women who have difficulty. The suction, no matter how hard you hand pump, is just not very strong. But you can pump straight into the bottle that comes w/this & that's how I found my boys fav bottle. The nipple works perfect w/his tongue tie. He has perfect latch w/it. So it's a mixed review, it's a great hand pump if you can breastfeed & produce easy already. Def not gonna work if you have any difficulties. Hope this helps a mama out there 🩵 ... show more

FYI: This is my first postpartum Amazon review so you know this product is highly recommended by me! After getting multiple blisters (and then clogs caused by those blisters) from my electric pumps, I had to resort to using a manual pump. I was using the Medela Harmony for the past three months as my primary pump - up to 8 pumping sessions per day! The suction wasn't great but I was making it work by pumping faster. I wasn't expecting this pump to work as well as the Medela but it is so much better. The suction is far superior, the 30.5 flange size is perfect, and it is so easy to wash. I found mold in the handle of my Medela pump due to the milk flowing up into the handle as the air flows in and out of the pump. This pump prevents that from happening so I don't expect to have any issues with milk drying in the handle area. The only issue now is that I have all these Medela bottles and no extra Lansinoh bottles so I'll need to order more. Lastly, this pump is QUIET! I couldn't talk on the phone and use my Medela pump at the same time since it made noise as the air moved through the pump. The Lansinoh pump is completely silent and you can only hear the milk dripping down. Overall: - Great suction which means less time pumping - Perfect flange size for me - Easy to clean - No milk backflow up towards handle - Absolutely quiet, perfect for multitasking on a phone call or middle of the night pumping Although it isn't ideal to use a manual pump for every session, it helped build my supply up from ~15 ounces per day to ~40 ounces per day over 2 months, thanks to emptying my breasts and hand massage at the same time. Other products I'd recommend with this: Mother Love nipple cream (not lanolin), Lansinoh milk storage bags, and any breast roller for massaging the breast tissue while you pump (more fatty milk and increased flow with massage). ... show more

Great product. This is so easy to use, clean and store. Great for on the go or just to have the freedom to walk around while pumping without having to be limited by a power cord. I always get more output from the manual pump than the electric one.
