I loved the Lands End shorts that I previously purchased here on Amazon. They were very high quality, and made of heavy cotton, 97%, with double stitching and reinforced seams. In fact, I liked them so much that when I saw them advertised at over 60% off I purchased two additional pairs. What I received was dramatically different from my original purchase, despite their being described as being identical. These shorts were very low quality. The material was very thin with single stitching and little attention to detail. In addition to their low build quality, the interior tag stated that they were 70% cotton, which was not only suspect, but also not the 97% cotton described. Because of the short zipper (5") if becomes uncomfortable difficult to expose ones self, you know what! I bought a similar pair directly from Lands End several years ago and they were great! (6" zipper). Making it cheaper?

The only item we don't like about the shorts are the front pockets are short and not very deep. Sort of wanna be pockets. Otherwise, if pockets don't mean much to you, you will like them.
